I know you’re joking but is it even allowed in contract law to insert a clause that your tenant, or any associated company, can not take any legal action against you at any point in the future?

It wouldn't be on those general terms no. Whether there could be caveats added to make it clear that they only agreed to waive their rights on pre-agreed topics (and subject to 'new evidence' coming to light) i'm not so sure.

Yep, likely they can include clause(s) that discharge any previous action, thereby preventing re-opening of said cases, but they can't stop future dispute resolution cases arising...

Can’t be much left of it surely especially after all the other ‘parties’ involved have had their dibs....

This one from Wasps suggests SISU have to announce a cessation of legal action before there is a parly but the door is open.

There is no "arguable point of law" in their appeal. Therefore the appeal cannot be heard. It's my understanding that they could only go to the ECJ if the appeal had been heard in the Supreme Court (on an arguable point of law), but they had lost.
I don't believe you can go willy-nilly to the ECJ to argue about anything you want!

I'm trying to figure out what the civil suit might state. Presumably loss of income based on being gazumped (ask your parents, kids!!) on the sale? The thing is, it's clear that what CCC did in selling to Wasps in favour of SISU (perhaps for less money that SISU had offered) was possibly underhand and immoral, but not actually contrary to civil law. Or does the Supreme Court judgement simply mean that it didn't amount to use of public money to support a commercial organisation?

Any lawyers out there who understand this stuff??

Cllr Maton already preferring to tweet cheap remarks about the Observer. Absolute disgrace.

Tosser!! When is his seat in Henley Ward up for re-election?? Not this year - it is only Patricia Seaman (snigger) of the incumbent Labour group.
But we need candidates to stand against him AND Ed Ruane, also in Henley Ward - both think they own the city!

So SHITSU hit with costs as well.
Let’s hope this is the end of the legals and we can go back to the good old days of talk about how great/shit our 1-11 is. Somehow I doubt it though.

I would think that the club will have to move first. Wasps can claim an open door in the absence of court cases having stated it on the record

So If we assume that the leagls are parked for now and given the EFL hearing later this month I think they have to at least go through the motions of trying to stay in the city.

Not a clue, but hopefully that's the end of it. Sort something out at the Ricoh. Then in an ideal world sort something for our own ground in the future.
But for now I just want us to play in Coventry.

I don't think it's quiet. Is that some implication that this place is gutted sisu lost? Because I think your quite wrong. I hope it's the end and a deal is sorted to stay and Sisu either piss off and give someone else a go or go and build the stadium we need.
