Ultimately, Gentlemen, if you aren't seeing it by now you just aren't getting it.

AfD are the second party in Germany (and rising), RN have more seats than ever in France, prevented getting power only because the entirety of the left and centre banded together and surrendered candidates in seats to consolidate votes to keep RN out, the Irish are burning down migrant hotels and Reform came second in 98 seats in this country, Trump is holding rallies and Americans are waving signs for deportations (outside of dodging bullets).

Whatever side of the fence you land on in relation to the Liberal Progressive Western world view of the post-WW2 era, a reaction is taking place, and it is only gaining momentum. No amount of hypothetical utopian what-ifs on a football forum are changing that.

I wouldn't hold out any hope of this ride ending any time soon.

No amount of anything on a football forum is changing anything.
Whether it's US politics or either we should play 4 at the back!
But you're right, and I said it on the election thread, Starmer has to be perceived as getting it right on immigration.

I wonder if their fans will continue to sing I predict a riot? Seems in poor taste now.

The issue as I see it is people move to where they feel safe initially, post migration. That's literally with people of like skin, culture or language. What happens then is the 'locals' who were there feel outraged that they've been taken over and almost forced out and that builds hatred and tension on both sides. It then becomes colonisation rather than integration and that's where the real problems start with no go areas for those on both sides of the divide.

I don't have an answer to it really, but perhaps forced integration is the only way it might work in new areas if it's not too late.

The only country I’m aware of that’s tried anything significant on integration is Denmark. Not sure how well it works.

Migrant integration hub

The migrant integration hub is the EU’s main source of information on the inclusion of migrants. It brings together in one place information about EU initiatives supporting integration, as well as news, facts and stories of successful projects from all the 27 EU countries.

Was reading about Sweden at the weekend after some of the comments on here made it sound like gangland hell which doesn't really match my experiences there. One of the things that came up repeatedly was that there's a very specific Scandinavian lifestyle and not enough was being done to help people integrate.

Makes recruitment by drugs gangs easier you'd assume.

I don't know why I bother riting paragraphs and that. I mean, it's bad enough that my mate Earlsdon, the big E, EEza Good! can't undertand big words, but I had higher hopes for you. I thought we had something

Mate, I literally wrote “I’d support deportation” and it was too nuanced to avoid being called a liberal wokey who wants all white women assigned a brown boyfriend at 16 to end the Ayrian race.

To put this thread into some sort of context

Influencers radicalising boys in 'terrifying' way, say police

A new report by senior police says violence against women and girls has become a "national emergency".
www.bbc.co.uk

20% of all crime caused by toxic masculinity. Maybe it’s time we started treating people like Tate as groomers. Pretty clear to me as a father of two daughters my children are far more likely to be a victim of home grown toxic masculinity driven crime than they are from immigrants practicing an extreme form of Islam. Maybe we should talk about that. Awaits the Tate is a victim, this is what happens when you stick your head above the parapet nonsense we’ve seen voiced on this forum before.

I agree with the point about him, although it doesn't really put the thread into context as it's a stretch to link the 2 unless it's about Tate being muslim.

Just an observation but you have posted on the football side of the forum 9 times since the new year, but on the political threads everyday. Its really quite odd.

The point of the thread at least from some posters direction seems to be if you tolerate immigration it’s a danger to you and your family. It’s pretty clear that as a father to girls toxic masculinity nurtured in this country is a bigger problem yet doesn’t get half the coverage. It’s bigger than Tate too. Tate types have gotten a lot of airtime and legitimisation from public figures including MP’s because he’s seen as anti-woke. Look at what happened when Sadiq Khan publicly and rightly said that he had no confidence in the Met commissioner following the Wayne Couzens incident . You had a female Home Secretary saying it was Khan who was out of order, not the commissioner who turned a blind eye to institutional toxic masculinity amongst other issues. All because she was on an anti-woke crusade. We’ve gone backwards in recent years and mainly because fake agendas have given some people a free pass simply because my enemies enemy is my friend.
