Didn't see any of the 7-0 game for Leeds against Cardiff, but they must have had about 500 chances going by tonight.

Weird how our two best players today were the ones who made errors.

Dovin did really well bar the fumble.

Simms at fault for the first goal and not great 1st half but really held the ball up well 2nd and nearly got a goal bar an excellent stop.

A bit annoying that although we rode our luck it was two individual errors that gifted them the goals.

A combination of Leeds being on it and us having an off day did for us.

Cba to rate.
I thought Rudoni was decent for the most part.
Simms was more like what you'd want to see second half.
Dovin is just a class keeper.
Everyone else was either a bit shite or a lot shite with Latibeaudiere claiming first prize.

Lampard 2 for not picking Grimes from the start. Then -1 for not bringing Grimes on in the first half, the another -1 for leaving it until 60 minutes ti bring Grimes on

overall, Lampard 0

Dovin, Simms and Rudoni were probably our best players.
Grimes looked very tidy when he came on, can really pick a pass.

MVE and Bidwell both looked absolutely battered. Wouldn't be surprised if Burroughs comes in on Saturday on the right hand side

Leeds are obviously very good and should have scored a lot more, but many of our players were off their game today. We looked scared.

I thought Simms was dreadful. Not sure why the parroting of him playing well second half is going round. There were some improvements but still wasn't anywhere near good enough. Torp was dreadful and MvE also stands out as one that looked off. Could name many more, as I said.

It's just one game so fuck it off and go again next week. Didn't expect to win today, but was expecting a bit more of a fight out of it.

Simms handled nearly every ball played at/to him second half, always with one or two CBs right on him, brought other players into the game and nearly scored

It happens. We’ve seen enough last few games to know there’s quality there.

Fair play to lampard I think the switch to 541 helped going forward in build up, wish he would have dropped that damn high line though.

Torp has got quality but he's one (slow) paced which is really telling against teams like these

TBF to Dovin, the player should never have got that far and should have been stopped well before it bounced of Dovin's chest.

Well I going to stir it, why did nobody get on the ball after the sublime? Simms stooped header into space, first half after about 10 mins?

Dovin 7
Allen 6 (felt he was doing a thankless task 1st half)
Simms 6 (did well 2nd half)

Can't be arsed with the rest

Lati....gave their attackers so much space, always negative with his positioning and passing and gives away numerous pointless fouls from our attacking free kicks....so frustrating

Not really fair to mark them. Goals were gifted, but they were so much better than us in all areas. Best side I've seen in a long time to be fair and in Soloman and Piroe, two of the leagues best players. I was disappointed more in how we didn't change things. Clearly getting outnumbered through the middle and at 2nil should've added Grimes at the expense of a CB and got an extra body in there or pushed Lati up and at least change the formation if not the personnel.

Biggest annoyance of the night was getting away again. This doesn't happen anywhere else in the country, it's so frustrating sitting there not moving for 45 mins and feels even worse after a defeat, especially seeing their bellends wandering through the stationary traffic after celebrating their win. Something has to change, it will definitely put people off attending.

Just home now at 11.33 what a fucking joke the carparking is, I only live just outside Lutterworth and an hour and forty five minute is ridiculous.

He did get FK out of them though, not sure we took advantage of them, why was Rudoni losing his foot so often too, after that one that should have been given?

Exactly my view. Torp, whom I like, was generally outclassed and outmuscled.

Rudoni was the only one who had the skill to bother them. His footwork is astonishing at times. Rudoni and Grimes look a good combination. Allen and BTA just don't have the close control for this level. Honourable mentions for MVE who worked hard on the right, and for Simms in the second half.

The speed with which they broke was the big difference. We have been rubbish at that all season.

For QPR, Tats and Grimes for Allen and BTA

I'm 75 miles away and got home at 11:25 from Car Park C. It's a lot quicker to open up the road once the coaches got out than it used to be and always quicker to wait until road opened than turn right towards town

But why when they've won and are waiting behind to celebrate do we have to wait for their coaches to go before we can move? Lock them in for 30 mins and get the traffic away.

MOTM was Dovin for me. How Latibeaudiere's blatant foul didn't result in a penalty I'll never know?! He was poor tonight and his lack of pace really showed him up again. Grimes looked class, great passing and vision and an excellent corner taker too, a clear captain on the pitch; shouting at players to get into position after just a week with them was excellent. Still have hopes for a good finish to the season.

Agree, it's bloody annoying. I was first car out to follow the coaches, I passed 17 of them on the M69, zero pedestrians crossing at the roundabout, all crowds cleared, so we could have got (a lot of cars at least) out before the coaches

Lati was a liability to be honest. He made 2-3 basic errors that lead to decent chances and there was the penalty ‘incident’. Leeds had a rapid team and of the 3 CBs, Lati struggled the most to deal with that.

One of the reasons I’m convinced we’ll revert to 4ATB because when it comes down to it, you’ve got to take an extra CM over Lati every day of the week.

Agreed on Grimes, it was an excellent cameo. He quickened up the way we played too because whenever he got the ball, he always seemed to know his next move.

It was his unwillingness to defend the wide channels that was sending me loopy. Given they were doubling up on the wings, you needed him to go and engage one to free up Van Ewijk to press the other. He just stayed tucked in.

Leeds really gave us the runaround in the first half, pulling everyone out of position. Most seemed to correct in the second half; Lati didn’t.

Not sure why Lats gets special treatment when Thomas Kitching and Bidwell were all shit too tbh but seem to be above criticism. Missing the ball, playing it straight to them, losing their man, wild lunges out of position.

I think the idea we’d found some unstoppable defence was shown to be a nonsense. We’ll need better in the summer.

I just thought Lati was particularly bad last night. You’re right, though, they were all terrible really and it brings back into focus that the defence needs major surgery in the summer. I’ve said before I actually don’t mind any of the CBs on an individual basis but you wouldn’t be confident putting any of the 2 together and still being able to play positive football. I think I’ve finally reached the point where at least 2 of them depart in the summer and we replace them with proper CBs.

Dovin 3
MVE 5
Lati 4
Thomas 4
Kitching 5
Bidwell 5
Allen 6
Torp 5
Rudoni 5
Simms 5
Asante 4

Grimes 6
Sakamoto 5

Lampard 3 - Should have made changes to the starting 11. High line was suicidal towards the end. Unsure why we didn’t revert to 4-3-3 when Raphael came on to at least try something different for the last 10 minutes. Really let himself down with the 4-2 gesture to the Leeds fans.

Too many of them have played 90 minutes every game. It’s going to catch up with them like it did Sheaf. Lampard needs to use his substitutions and rotate his squad better.

Didn't understand the Postecoglu style high line at all . Across our whole defence we have a lack of proper pace , even MvE looks to have lost half a yard recently .

Only real plusses were Dovin who kept it respectable . Simms didn't hide after his mistake for the first goal and looked a threat second half and Grimes cameo was a sign of things to come centrally .

Write it off and start again , hopefully without the suicidal high line
