Dovin, although that happened for the second he kept the score down.

Not sure who else really did well.

Bta and Simms terrible first half, Simms better second.

Grimes looks promising and obviously has to start now.

The rest 5 max. Lati, Thomas and MVE less than 5.

Dovin literally gave them a goal and is still probably MOTM.

Dovin kept that respectable.
I’d give simms a 7 as well, thought he did well second half and unlucky not to have a goal.

It looked like a lack of communication between him and Lati.

I think he expected Lati to put his foot through it

Dovin gets an 8. Nobody else bar Grimes above a 5. The centre backs all get 3s, they let Leeds players run behind them time and time again.

How can you not criticise Lati for the second goal. Imo he was just as culpable as Dovin

Whatever you give Lati, take another 1 or 2 off for the stupid fucking fouls he is giving away from OUR free kicks.

Did it 3 times today. Pathetic. Pointless wrestling and pulling people to the ground.

Will wait to judge the 2nd goal until I see it back, but regardless Dovin stopped it being a cricket score. Also swept well on a number of occasions.

Simms held up very well, was at it second half.

Grimes looked tidy enough in his short demo.

Spent too long letting us get our bellies tickled. Looked porous at the back.

It happens. We’ve seen enough last few games to know there’s quality there.

Fair play to lampard I think the switch to 541 helped going forward in build up, wish he would have dropped that damn high line though.

Yeh all of them have been good enough recently to just call it a bad day at offic di think

I don't mind the high line and I can understand the theory of getting better at plan a rather than abandon for plan b. However it was way too easy for them to run in behind and that needs to be addressed.

I think grimes is going to be great in either formation we play from what little I saw today so that's promising. Sheaf wright and emc to return need to remember too.

Dovin 7 (-1 for the goal)
MVE 4
Lati 4
Thomas 4
Kitching 5
Bidwell 4
Allen 5
Torp 5
Rudoni 6
BTA 4
Simms 6 (-1 for the assist, he did well after that)

Grimes - in that 30 mins it was clear he's a very good player and streets ahead of Allen
Saka did alright

Yep there was a time he picked it up on the right side, most expected him to play back to Dovin, he fronted onto his left, sent the striker and tried to play a nice 1-2 with Thomas. He looks the business.

In hindsight he should have cleared it but he shielded it and the ball arrived in Dovin's grasp, only for him to fumble. Can't blame Latibeudiere for him fumbling.
There were a few times when he made crucial clearances, one prevented a certain goal.

Boosh nailed it on CWR RE: Rafael... Sometimes more than a handful is a waste.

I just hope we don't spunk the 'funds' this time.

It’s unjust criticism. Players were hardly worth 3’s

I thought that'd be a tough game but its disappointing to have handed it to them like that. It could easily have been 0-4 at HT and then they probably should have had at least two more in the second half. Dovin motm despite the error for the goal (defence more culpable for letting the guy just stroll through them). Grimes looks an excellent addition, surprised he wasnt given longer but he'll be a key player for us i reckon.

Where was my criticism by saying Lampard shouldn’t have played a high line? Lots of others have said that and you called it moaning
