I was in the Leppings lane for that FA cup semi final, the year you won the cup, and we were packed in like sardines then.....that's another story.
I also enjoyed coming down to Highfield Road back in the day....Remember our lad Noel Whelan?
Anyway, to the point...I was gutted tonight to read about all that s++t about Northampton and how you lads are being treated, always had a thing for Cov since '87.
Stay loyal lads, it'll be a while but you'll be back, we know how bad it can get.

Cheers korky.

The faith needs to be strong, judging by the time it has taken Leeds to get anywhere near re- establishing themselves - such a well supported club, far better than we could dream of, yet still struggling to get back to the top.

What Sisu have done, is to disunited our fans, so we don't even know what we want collectively, so most of our (already fickle) support has drained away after just one season in league one.

Respect to your faithful fans!

Thanks Korky , We seem to be getting support from quite a few other clubs ,it's good to know fans are seeing it how it is and giving support.
However Burbage I must pick you up on your "fickle"comment. With the goings on we've had to put up with since we last had a side to be proud of ,with owners we have confidence in its a wonder we get fans at all . One day soon (I hope ) it will come back and we will have good days again . No team can be this unlucky . PUSB

Agree with both of you, astute an buster

Astute, yes most of us want Sisu out, but we do seem to have some fans that can't understand what they are doing. But, most of all, we can't agree on a common approach in terms of how to get rid of them.

Buster, we certainly have had some shite to put up with in recent years, and it is a wonder there are any of us left.!......however, my 'fickle' comment was based on 45 years of following the sky blues.....during which time I have witnessed highs and lows, and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly our 'support' dwindles at the first sign of any failure on the pitch. There seems little resolve (amongst the masses). Sadly. Yes, there are many who have followed through thin and thin, but the vast majority are not 'committed followers' like at, say, Leeds, for example, where they still got crowds of twenty five thousand on a regular basis for league one matches, even after three years in that division.

Apologies if I offended anyone that has genuine resolve - something that is being tested to the limit by our current owners. The sooner we can get rid of them, the better - even if it means cutting off an arm to save the body.
