Lee has been named the captain for the upcoming season. I suppose this was pretty inevitable considering his experience and leadership qualities, also Aidy's many words of admiration for him.
I think it was the main reason for signing him. City have lacked leadership on the field for some time, and I think this showed itself in our indiscipline conceding so often just after we'd scored or at the end or start of a half.
I am glad he is captain. I know it probably would have been Wood or McPake otherwise but I think Carsley is much more experienced. Hopefully he will be like our version of Robbie Savage but better.
Savage is old, but still runs the show. Even if he is a prick!
