He dropped the ball for their second but 2 of the others were terrible deflections that gave him no chance. If McLoughlin gets a £5m move after the performance that day (he punched Hiwula’s ‘shot’ into the roof of his net) I’d be amazed.

I wonder if this will turn out to be a good move for Lee - I am not sure.

A decent shot-stopper, but his positioning, kicking and concentration are awful.

Too many mistakes and while I don't expect a keeper to be world class at this level, I do expect a keeper to be able to kick the ball convincingly and catch a ball, something Lee was not able to produce on several occasions.

Burge struggled when the crowd got on at him, if their crowd's constant moaning and booing when we played them is anything to go by his confidence will be gone before he starts.

He's maximising his income there as he signed his contract in our relegation season so would have been on almost nothing here and we weren't prepared to offer him a contract.

Any scout that watched him last season and thinks he is worth of any decent wage should be sacked immediately.

Sunderland seem to think we couldn't keep him as we're skint when we are actually paying wages a team that finished in the playoffs couldn't afford to take their keeper.
