Undercover agent Burge in place. Operation relegate Sunderland is in full swing. No stopping it now.

Oh and if Sunderland fans think we are bitter because he's no longer ours, search the forum... You will find all the material needed to make a judgement lol

‘Cov fans hate him. Calamity, mistake-ridden and was released for pretty much that. Decent enough back up keeper, nothing more than that’

This guy obviously knows his stuff but some of them think they’re getting one over on us if he signs

He's been there for 10 years, the first 6 on £70k/week then dropping back to a paltry £39k/week. They have freed up huge amounts of wages, especially if Oviedo can also be offloaded.

Wow - just done some sums - over £25,000,000 in wages alone!

He was voted man of the match by the player raters 7 times. Joint first with Kelly.
Personally I think we are best shot of him as his confidence seemed to have gone, but he did have some very good games

It might not materialise

He was meant to catch a train to Sunderland to finalise the deal but missed it.

(Sorry Lee,I've been quite supportive of you whilst youve been our 'keeper, but this was just a funny joke that I couldn't resist)

Rumour was he was going to reject any contract offered so he could play in the championship. MR then realised how shit he is, didn’t offer him a deal, made a point about saying how a loan keeper could do the basics and now poor Lee could be on the bench in this league.

Good luck to him. Top class professional, great keeper, great command of his box and deservedly going to a giant of a club with incredible passionate support.

If the match vs them last season was not enough of an indication that he is error prone no helping them.

In truth tho he is a good shot stopper and if he has some top class coaching he could still turn out to be a half decent keeper.

He made one of the best saves I’ve ever seen live, vs newport.

For what it’s worth Liam O’Brien made one of the best saves I’ve seen live against Blackpool last season... then proceeded to have two shockers to concede twice. When you make that many mistakes, people tend to forget the odd decent action
