Has Justice Hickinbottom granted SISU leave to appeal yet ? After two batterings in Court already, is this likely to be granted ?

either way they can still technically appeal whether its an appeal or an appeal against the appeal rejection. however if the leave to appeal is rejected SISu could technically cut there loses and just move on...

which in itself will be a good indication on whether SISU have changes there spots

I think he means the ACL case where ACL lost but Sisu also lost their counter claim.

If their appeal is rejected, you know they will go to the next stage and raise another appeal, which they are entitled to do. However to my untrained eye this would appear to plain stupid and cost all lot more.

Assume they are just adding this all as debt against the club though.

The Justice Males ruling of last year - latterly overturned at appeal - for the JR. He was unequivocal in his reading of the situation:

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/judge-throws-out-sky-blues-5667471

Which they got shelved, and got their chance at having Justice Hickinbotham; who then bitch-slapped them again.

So, two batterings. well, there's a third - a Holy Trinity of losses - if you count the original (uncontested) rent hearing at Birmingham's High Court.

In essence, SISU - far from 'battering' everyone in court, seem to be to legal proceedings, what Dean Holdsworth was to our striking dilemma of 2003....

That was Higgs not ACL wasn't it?

I think he means the high court judgement on non payment of rent in August 2012, could be wrong though.

Let's rally behind SISU. Go for it SISU! Let's encourage them. The best tactic. Another whopping in court may end their ambitions in Cov. Go for it SISU!

Think there was 2 rent hearings, both uncontested by SISU. There was also at least one trip to court prior to the JR as they wanted access to council documents but permission was refused.

Does it really count when it was overturned a few months later. It's like some team winning an FA cup tie to find out a couple if weeks later they fielded an ineligible player and get kicked out the competition, even if they won 5-0 in the original tie.

It doesn't matter how unequivocal the original verdict was it no longer stood after the appeal.

If the club are serious about wanting to enter new talks, they'd be better off scrapping any idea of any kind of appeal. It's a clear condition of ACL that for talks to go ahead, this must be dropped.

If they appeal I won't believe they have any serious intention of re-entering talks

The first judge was proved to be right as SISU's argument was shown to be fully wrong. So all the appeal win did was cost our club millions and show SISU for what they are........yet some are still making out as they are doing the right thing now and should be trusted.

Well yes - of course. One is s full hearing, when all facts are heard from both sides and a judge makes a ruling. In both cases a landslide ruling.

The other - via appeal - normally only a 'victory' by means of a nuance of law. In the case of the appeal against Justice Males ruling, unfortunately for SISU, as it only gave them platform to get their arse handed back to them on an even bigger stage

we have a poster on here called Grendull, you may have noticed him.

It seems very likely he is connected to SISU in some form judging by his incredibly biased postings towards SISU.

It may be a concern he said "SISU deliberately lost the JR". Does he know something? Was SISU plan always to lose and then successfully appeal?

I may be paranoid maybe!

Without being funny, Stu; what - specifically - have ACL done to make you not trust them? I know the rent was to high; but that's in the public domain. But what else?

You statement kinda gives them even-billing on the 'distrust-o-meter'. I think I could show you 5 big porkies for any one you can show me on ACL. Care to start?

You do realise that when you say things like that that it looks (only looks mind) that you are arguing for Sisu. Now for the purpose of keeping Covmark and a few others happy, I am not calling you a staunch supporter of Sisu. They were battered the first time round as they were in the second round. You try and use a football match for your argument but let me use a boxing match. The first round Sisu got put firmly on their arse but managed to get up after an 8 count by the ref, in the second round after a combination of punches they are not put down but smashed through the fucking ropes. They manage to finally crawl back into the ring after a 9 count. Any ref worth his salt would wave his arms and say your out. Lets hope sense prevails and ends this fucking nonsense once and for all.
