I've met Fisher, briefly, as have a few others on the forum I think.

I don't care much for what has happened to the club under his reign, but if you met him on an individual basis I think most would find him amicable and intelligent. In truth I found myself rather embarassed, because when I was talking to him I couldn't help thinking about all of the unnecessarily personal stuff that I've posted here and elsewhere. It's borne of anger, but that doesn't make it right, or fair, and I apologised to him for it. He didn't ask me to apologise btw, and he was quick to offer in return that he knew he had made mistakes. I still don't agree with what he's done, or what he appears to still be doing, but as a man he went up in my estimation that day.

I guess the point I'm making is that threats of violence and cheap insults get us nowhere, imho. We've got to be bigger than that.

Only spoken to Fisher at the fans forum just after Robins went. To be honest, I found him evasive and/or a bit dim. Either that or I have real trouble getting my point across, which is a distinct possibility. Much like Sandra Garlick, I found him to be lots of shine and little substance. Though as an engineer with a deep mistrust of salespeople, that might not be too surprising.

Don't be so stupid G. If Sisu wanted defeat why instigate it in the first place??

So they can claim insolvency and bankrupt / liquidate the club, which obviously wouldn't be their fault..

Ridiculous! Firstly, ACL are not the Defendants CCC are and secondly they will almost certainly loose and costs will be awarded against them. Think again my friend.

It doesn't matter who the defendants are does it - it's inevitable this will be the strategy.

Given your "success" at taking legal action I'd keep a bit silent if I were you.

So what about the cost of several years of distressing ACL against the cost of just buying them in the first place?

Obviously you're just desperate to paint this as a win for your beloved hedge fund but the cost just don't add up. They could end up paying many times more going the distressed route as apposed to just buying them in the first place and even if it doesn't why would CCC have sell a lease to take over management of the Ricoh?

So they won't take any more legal action then?
Do you know how hedge funds operate?

The point you keep deliberately ignoring is what this has cost them already and how much more is it going to cost them to keep piling on more legal action over several years in an attempt to send ACL to the wall?

Yes I know how hedge funds operate. High risks in an attempt to obtain high gains and this has to be the riskiest ever.

The most disturbing part is that you're supposed to be a CCFC fan who doesn't seem to understand that the biggest risk is to the club but are still egging sisu on in a fight from the safety of the back of the crowd.

I'll point out the cost to you again. All the legal costs so far, possibly CCC's legal costs too. The cost of putting money in as share issues so the club can still operate within FFP and future legal costs of not just themselves but potentially their apponents too.

Given the strength of the JR defeat even if sisu is successful in getting it to a higher court (which must be more than doubtful) they've got to turn that defeat around before they can even think about winning. That's a big mountain to climb. Do you really think that the three "expert" judges will not look at the JR for reference as the JR judge did with the Higgs case. With the exception of the successful appeal (which seems an odd decision now) judges are not ruling in there favour on this, it would seem to indicate that at best two judges will laugh it out of court and one will say maybe, that equals a loss.

How wet are your shoe's. Aren't you tired of pissing in the wind?

But I wonder when they will pay those costs though. Even if they do appeal and it is successful does that mean that they do have to pay the costs for the first round or do they carry over to the appeal?

If they do have to pay them it should be funny to see if they pay when the court tells them to or whether they come up with more bullshit excuses.

If Fisher gets sent down for his actions he better hope he doesn't get banged up with a mate of mine who has just been served with a 5 stretch and is in the "Green" at the moment. He is a Cov nutter in every sense of the word, always has been and violence is his pastime

Your mate doesn't sound like a very nice person. Sounds like he's in the best place he can be.

Sisu don't seem to worried about legal bills I guess mainly as they are getting CCFC to pay them so they must need to sell a few more treason tickets before the next case.

It has already been confirmed by ML in the past that they don't unterstand the Banking mechanisms and so it is doubtful that they will pay the costs on time. Maybe Joy will magnimonously offer to pay all costs as last time at the Higg's case - and then not pay them as with the payment to ACL in order to keep the golden share.
