We dominate games, we usually create a lot more chances than the opposition. It is about taking those chances. We play good, attacking football. You must be watching different games to me.

My frustration comes from throwing points away Tranmere,Bolton,Shrewsbury,Peterborough etc he’s done a good job but frustrates me we should be top 2 this season is the best chance we’ve had to get back up the division is not as strong as previous seasons, also the away form is shocking.

If we’re serious about promotion we need to be beating Wycombe away next game but the poor away form could see us Beat & dropping again

I think the next two games are must wins, fail to win either and we're going to really struggle

You said all season as if teams have never had a game in hand on us...

We started the day 5th and are now 8th so if you were speaking about today it wasn’t bullshit either...

Such overreaction!

Obviously we want to win them both and I hope we do. But it's hardly a season ender if we don't.

My worry is team set up away from home & the mental side of things were at Xmas with no win away I’ll take a point at Wycombe but we should be beating Tranmere surely time god of not the pressure will start to mount for sure.

Think it’s been a decent day for us today even though we ain’t played only 3 points off auto spots, good time to start winning away games

We are now 9th but not that far away from top 6 - is this our lowest position so far this season??

We need to win at least two out of the next three league games. If we do that, we'll be fine and well amongst it

Has been - shame about the Fleetwood late goal, though. Jump on the Sunderland forum if you want to see who's having a bad day!

Down to 9th, if we are going to get into the playoffs we really need to start winning away.

Pretty symbolic if we don't given that we're now at full strength and we're at the midpoint of the season

The hard work starts now.

Unless we can start scoring and winning away from home expect this position or lower come May.

And also 3 points off second, it's not all doom and gloom. I remember days not so long ago that we would have been three points off relegation at this time in the season.
If we push on and get a good run of results going, we'll do great

Fairly good day for us to be fair. We were 2 points of second before the start of the game and were only 3 points of second now. Massive game on Sunday and I hope we don’t bottle it infront of a sell out away crowd

I think you're right, they are they can make or break our season.

We are only 3 points of autos, but we've played 12 of our 21 games at home where our record is bettered only by wycombe. We've only played 9 away, not managed to win and are in the bottom 6 in terms of our away results

We average 2.25 points per game at home and only 0.78 points per game away.

One could argue that as we havent played an even games home and away our current position is exaggerated.

We need to break the away duck, and we need to win these potential 6 pointers.

Fairly good day for us tbf
I see us beating Wycombe and a good run of results coming.
We had a rest today and let the turkey and beer digest. Should be firing on all cylinders come Sunday.

Definitely - we can’t seriously claim to be contenders if we can’t secure one away win by that stage of the season.

After 21 games we are 9th - you said we should ‘destroy’ teams and are ‘too good’ for them - if we fail to win the next two most likely we will be further of the automatics

No it’s being realistic based on our league position.

Yes we are 3 points off second but also the same amount to 11th. We have to go past 7 teams to get into the automatics but only drop down 2 to fall into 11th.

In a tight league every point is vital - that’s why I don’t understand why people celebrate 2 draws and say we don’t lose many over a win and a loss.
