League One Player of the Year (1 Viewer)

Hey guys! Its that time of week again. Sports Lounge with Liam Cook is live Thursday 10-12 on Hillz FM (98.6) and we need you help for Cooks Question. This week, with the Premier League end of season awards looming, we would like to know you opinion on League One's player award. Adam Forshaw was named player of the year for League One, but was it the correct decision?Did Callum Wilson do enough in his 1st full season? What about Brit Assombalonga? If you have an opinion on this matter then please do get involved. If you dont want your answer broadcast on my show please do say so. Thanks again

Callum Wilson will almost certainly be up there, will he win it? I am not sure that will be the case but then thinking about it I can't put a finger on anyone who I would of considered to be any of a better shoe in, other than Lee Tomlin who moved to Middlesborough in January from Posh.

I'd go

1) Mooney - L Orient
2) Jacobs - Wolves
3) assomombalonga - Peterborough
4) Wilson - Cov
5) Baldock - Bristol City

Adam Forshaw (Brentford) won Sky Sports League one player last month and the other 2 shortlisted were Kevin McDonald (Wolves) and Alex Pritchard (Swindon).

I've not seen enough of any of them to comment tbf, just throwing it out there.

I'm still in the "I don't have to learn about the players in this league, we'll only be here a season or two" mindset. Lasted about 5 years in the Championship.

Agreed, never heard of the winner. Only heard of that Peterborough striker who has scored a load the other week.
