Quite an exciting run-in happening in League One at the moment for the second spot. Wrexham lead the pack with 86, but host an in form Charlton tomorrow. If Charlton win they'll be 1 point back with Burton at home on the final day, whilst Wrexham will need to beat an in form Lincoln away. Meanwhile, Wycombe are 2 points back, but have to travel to play-off chasing (and in form) Leyton Orient tomorrow. They then host Stockport on the final day, who are also in the running sat 5 points back from Wrexham - 2 points if they beat Lincoln at home tomorrow, and Wrexham lose to Charlton.

Potentially at the end of tomorrow there could be 2 points between all 4 teams, with GD pretty much the same.

Hoping Godden and Charlton can do a number on Wrexam tomorrow at 5.30.
I'm a little bit bitter that the blue noses are getting the season/promotion that we were cruelly robbed of but fair play to them.

Blues need to win two of their last three games to beat Reading’s all time points record of 106.

I think it would be great if Stockport got second. They're a likeable club. I'm not a fan of Nathan Jones but would be really pleased for Godden who has been superb this season.

I trust that we’re all Matty Godden / Charlton fans this evening and hope Wrexham’s party gets spoilt, the wankers.

Wrexham score

Straight to Ryan Reynolds for the cameras to show his proper American celebrations

3 promotions in a row is very good in all fairness.

Ref let's McClean absolutely boot somebody after the ball has gone, no booking. Then he tells the ref to fuck off when shouting in his face, no booking.

No doubt the media will be creaming all over them again next season.

Maybe not. Media will lose interest in a dull, relegation bound season.

Hope so, last day defeat at Swansea to send them down would be great.

Also very easy when you can spend far more than everyone else. Another team taking the financial piss isn't what the EFL needs

When did they start handing out a trophy and medals for second place? Was it just for Ryan Reynolds?

Burnley didn't have them.

I'm actually (distantly) related to some Wrexham supporters who've followed them for years and one works for the club so glad for them but the circus surrounding them and blues is going to be unbearable.

I remember Rotherham having a trophy the year they came 2nd to us in league one.

Medals is fair enough, but a trophy is bizarre.

Absolute nonsense.

read something earlier - their budget for next year is comparable to prem parachute teams….

one thing that them and Birmingham have shown is that to get out of league one you need rich owners who are happy to spunk cash away in the pursuit of glory.

Unless you are Cov and do it properly with hardly any fans

Burnley might not finish second

I think they’re a regular thing - here’s Derby last year

This version of keep right on is far superior to the fast version they sing

Orient are going to win the play offs, aren't they. They're peaking at just the right time. First time back in the second tier for over 40 years, and a tiny away allocation.
