Complicity? It was literally proved it was the police’s fault. They opened the gate and as a result there were much more people in that middle pen that there should have been. Don’t see how the fans were complicit in that?

Yeah A little bit traumatising for him. He was in the ‘neutral’ section in one of the side stands. He didn’t know what was happening at first , but it took him a long time to forget what he saw thereafter. I was watching the highlights of our semi vs Leeds earlier. Leeds fans and our fans (but especially theirs at leppings lane end) looked dangerously crammed in. Don’t know why the warning signs weren’t seen earlier. As with the bradford city fire , the signs were there beforeAnd it could of been us in the QF in 87. Shameful event, still not totally resolved.
