He went to Caludon CastleThink it takes a bit of mean spirit to not be happy for someone from the city who achieved great things in the game. That said, for the 90 minutes he is just another opposition player so would just treat him as such.
I worked with a few people who went to school with him at Foxford, nobody had bad things to say.

There are plenty of instances of his referencing us since leaving if you look hard enough from referring to McSheffrey as his favourite player when he was growing up, or his pleasure at scoring the winning goal against Villa because of his CCFC connections, or referring to us as as the team he supported on a blog that was referred to on this site earlier in the Summer.

No shame in admitting I said the opposite at the time. I thought he looked so lightweight and spent half the time on the floor. Of course more than happy to be completely wrong.Decent draw, they're an excellent team but it's a very winnable game for us and if Spurs turn up and aren't at it, I think we'll punish them.
