Might be shot for saying this come Christmas but that squad doesn't look bad there - and there's still more to come!

The next Footy Manager don't come out until after the season's started,usually about November-ish...so much better than FIFA

Not so much anymore, they only update 2-3 times a year, FIFA updates weekly nowadays.

I've always thought we're quite fairly treated on FIFA tbh whereas Footy Manager (as much as I love it) is a bit hit & miss.
Our youngsters are almost always rated terribly on FM but 1 seemingly random player will be outstanding. I can never play as Cov for this reason. For example Ponticelli & Camwell this year have such low potential that once they peak they'd apparently struggle to be regulars in the National League.

This is something FIFA has improved massively since the change to weekly updates, rewarding as the season continues (hence Stevenson 57 > 64).

stevenson very por rating, think he will do well even in league 2 heavy handed games

He's not. That 57 was from when FIFA 17 was released. He got upgraded steadily over the season. Actually 63 now (not 64, apologies) and a potential of 80! Sounds more than fair to me.
