What areas do you think we lack depth?

The obvious one we don't have real quality cover for is Godden but apart from that I think we're pretty stro g depth wise in most areas.

Having a billionaire is a requirement to break into that particular stranglehold. That's really what the game has become, clubs like Bournemouth making so much off TV money they could make a profit with no fans, others like Wolves whoring out to the highest bidder and the not so lucky selling their grounds to gamble at the big time, failing that they just overspend in an attempt to keep up. All the while praise gets lavished on Man City for having an infinite budget and predictably wiping teams off the pitch.

It isn't really exciting to see which one of the top 6 will have the best season while paint drying is more appealing than Watford v Burnley

The left of midfield isn't looking too hot while Hiwulla looks distinctly awkward playing in his advanced position too. If Jones were up and running it might be a different story but we are pretty weak in that part of the pitch.

Yes, up front. Fear we’re on thin ice already with injuries. If Godden fell victim then we’re hoping for the best with Bakayoko or Biamou. As much as I love Max there was plenty of times he didn’t fill me with confidence in League Two. O’Hare as well - big player. Hiwula doesn’t show up enough.

It's 3 different winners. It's had 6 different winners in 26 years, but for billions oil money (Chelsea and Man City) it'd be less still. Division 1 had 8 in the preceding 26 years.

4 winners in 7 years. 3 winners in 6.

Utd last won it in 12/13

I had a look at some bookies' odds last night and they all have us as outsiders for automatic promotion and around evens for the play offs.

They're rarely wrong.

It would in terms of the club surviving (the £££s). Of course we'd almost certainly get relegated, but oh those parachute payments (drool)!

Brushed us aside with ease??? Did you attend the game? I'm guessing not.

You couldn’t possibly think that Watford (a very weakened Watford at that) were lucky to beat us?

Why the fuck are people arguing over how we'd get on against Man City for fucks sake?

It's how we're going to get on against Doncaster and Ipswich in games that are actually going to happen that's important.

It's emerging the only teams to fear in league 1 so far are Ipswich and us.

I think we have a good squad with more round pegs in round holes and there’s a bit of depth there and some good players like Allen and hopefully Jodie Jones to come in yet, don’t think we’ve got the forward line up to speed yet as I’d like it but we are getting there. I think our team will get better too.

Doncaster will be a big test - play good football. want to keep our 100% record, but I'd take staying unbeaten.

Next two should tell us how good we really are. Very kind start to to season with some tough games to play now. Pick up a few wins and we should cement ourselves as promotion contenders.

A weakened Watford side bringing in international and multi million pound players beat a weakened Coventry team bringing in kids

And despite City’s handful of chances, swept us aside quite easily, yes.

Why is it? The majority of teams we've played so far are poor sides and have struggled so far.

I see Paul Lambert has had a go about the antics of that horrible fucker Evans in their game with Gillingham yesterday.

About time the EFL dealt with the prick.

The opposition dug out were a disgrace. Wasn't happy with comments aimed at his players and staff, refused to shake hands afterwards.
The usual Evans repertoire.
