Just seen this and thought it might interest some.

It ranks all teams (based on betting odds) and then shows you the order of the fixtures.

We're currently 8th favourite, but whats quite interesting is that in our first 10 games we only have one game against a "stronger" team, Portsmouth...

5 of the games are against teams expected to finish in the bottom 8.

Appreciate this doesn't necessarily mean that much, but if we can be in a strong position after 10 games and get some confidence in the dressing room (and more fans up at St Andrews) fingers crossed we can push on.

A lot of the top teams actually play each other a lot as well.

We just need to find early goals this season, start as we mean to go on. If we can find the net from the off, the league's there for the taking

Could be good for the new boys, giving them a bit of time to settle in before the better teams come along.

I'd rather have these analysts and the like putting us further down the league, takes the pressure off all the new guys and will give them time to gel together as a team

We’re fucking dreadful against mid to bottom of the table league one teams. Have been ever since we left the championship.

Momentum, look at Luton last season. It is pretty easy to see why they rate Lincoln's chances.

Have Lincoln spent much/are they well backed by the owners? I agree on the momentum piece but it did strike me initially as surprising to see them quite so high up the list.

Their main signing is Jack Payne who scored 9 from midfield in a very poor Bradford side last season and was wanted by championship clubs.

He would have been a good alternative to Bright for us.

I don't think making a load of signings is necessarily a show of strength, momentum and continuity count for a lot. They've added to a team that has been successful by any measure for 3 consecutive seasons.

I think Lincoln will be top 10 - potentially a promotion threat. Strong unit with momentum and being strengthened- they’ll be right up there

Which is puzzling why people think we will “get top 2” or “at least reach the playoffs considering again the turn over of players.

not trying to compete on the stats front, although I did here we're +1.2374 compared to last year -19.456 so we must be getting promoted

It was our inability to beat teams at the bottom end of the table that cost us a play-off spot maybe even automatic promotion, that’s what the bookies will be looking at.

Yeah i tend to agree that it's going to be difficult, that said we seem to have signed players to fit a way of playing rather than just signed players as they sound good. Still think we'll do well to get near the play offs.

On paper yes but if last season is anything to go by We were better against the top teams worse against the teams we were expected to beat!

That's true, but hopefully the extra experience and physicality we've brought in will help in that respect.
Also there would appear to be some plan behind the recruitment this year, you could hardly say that of last years signings.
