Steve Davis, Crewe: 42.5%
Karl Robinson, MK Dons: 47% ( And only 31!)
Keith Curle, Notts county: 60%!
Danny Wilson, Sheffield United: 54%
Graham Turner, Shrewsbury: 50%
Paolo Di canio, Swindon: 64%
Gary Johnson, Yeovil: 50% (After 4 games)
Mark Yates, Cheltenham:50%
Martin Allen, Gillingham: 100% (After 4 games)
Chris Wilder, Oxford: 47%
Micky Adams, Port vale 40%
Steve Evans, (Formerly of Crawley): 48%

Yeah all those figures show for early season form ,even Adams,Dowie and Coleman would have been able to post Di Canio style figures after 4 games

Problem... they are all employed already so they can all be ruled out as we do not buy Managers out of their contracts. A damn shame really as there is quite obviously good Managers around us and some young and ambitious. Echoing my post on a different thread, Steve Coppell is someone that I'd prefer but is a Director of Football at Crawley. This sounds contradictory but surely with their club already having a Manager, they surely could not demand a substantial fee to get hold of him - DoF is surely a glorified AM at best?!

I think anyone on that list would be minimal money to extract.

There was slightly more ambition 2 years ago.

If there is meant to be new investment... Then we could get a big name/buy out a manager's contract.

He was signed to score goals and that is exactly what he did. Getting a player of his calibre on a free, I certainly was not complaining. What is more criminal is having Baker and Bell on new 5 year deals.

I could see where Astute was going with that post so use of the word 'criminal' was intentional

Nice work but sadly I wouldn't personally sanction any one of those.

Incredible that Graham Turner is still managing. He was the manager at Villa about 30 years ago!
