Where are they?

Robins is tactically all over the place at the moment but still… where is the leadership on the pitch? Where is the fight and passion?

Our recruitment has completely ignored the profile for leadership it seems.

At the moment it feels like we’re losing it on the tactical leadership (Robins and his coaches) and on the pitch with no in game leaders.

We are a bunch of softies.

Tactically we’re not all over the place. There’s just a lack of general bravery in possession.

Soft defensively, safe in possession and a young team finding their feet still. There’s a need for leaders in the group, absolutely!

Still, it’s early in the season… there’s no need to shit the bed.

If DK has any sense, he’ll be on the blower to Matty James’ agent tonight. We are so soft bellied in the middle of the park. Need an experienced head, and quickly.

Yeah… you can see on social media and even the lads I go with, too moaning at certain players.

We’re still 6 games in. Disappointing start, of course but not really indicative of how the season will go (just yet).

I'd say our three biggest leaders were on the bench today - Sheaf, Kitching and Latibeaudiere.

(Not saying Lati should be a starter, but he does show some of the leadership characteristics we're missing at the moment)

It's a character such as Faz you need in a side. Also characters at the club. We lost O'Hare who was a character, Wilson is a character but not in the side currently. Happy campers are much better. There is no obvious captain in our current starting 11. If I gave it anyone, it would be Van Ewik, a character and always a 100%. in games. Probably the first name on the team sheet.

Sheaf and Bidwell are probably the only leaders we have. I know that Robins likes Lati, but I can't say I've noticed him being particularly vocal or organising when he's playing.
