In a couple of years time will we be saying "If we had him we would have been in the EPL now" or "phew - a bullet dodged there" >?>

Interesting this has happened only a few hours after the Rotherham chairman rubbished our bid for him.

BBC radio Sheffield journalist suggested this wasn't the case, they haven't made a new bid for him.

Main problem with this is it means more interest will come from elsewhere. So even if we were pulling all the pennies together to make a bid, no doubt another club will trump us now.

I am sure other clubs transfer movements are based on our ability to bring players into the spotlight!

He is a punt for anybody at this level ao hardly surprising nobody has made an acceptable bid.

Rotherham have denied it so prob not even true, and wont cause other clubs to start bidding.
