Wrap up and bring a decent size hip flask. Just make sure you can have a piss easily tho as you dont want to be pissing on your best strides.

Agree, pitch will be fine, but I think surrounding roads will be in doubt plus I reckon they’ll take into account the pleas from the large travelling support to call it off.

Part of me hopes it’s off as I’m stranded in an rural Oxfordshire village and can’t get out.

But then we have hit a bit of form and Lincoln are in a sticky patch so ultimately I want the 3 points.

Don't neglect the feet when stood or sat on concrete two or three pairs of socks. Lots of thin layers are better than thick. A hot drink before you go out to keep your core temperature up. Gloves and hat.

PJ's and your favourite smoking jacket - That's what you'll all be wearing tomorrow and in the comfort of your own living rooms.

For tomorrow, I'm wearing: Two pairs of trousers, a snood, a scarf, bobble hat, fingerless gloves (I'm hard) and a gilet (I'm posh) and hoping that my thick Coat has dried out from a snowballing defeat at the hands of my son this morning.

Any other fashion tips for the cold tomorrow?

Yeah, I drove from London to Yorkshire last night. Anything north of the M69 junction was pretty much clear and as good as normal. South of that was interesting.

M1 in Northampton was good fun at 4pm last night. Amazed at the Audi’s and BMW’s doing 70 in the snow filled outside lane.

Some of the people are mental driving in it, either stupid or just no fear.

Unless of course they were Audi R8's with snow mode.

On my way back from decathlon at about 5ish yesterday afternoon, on the dual carriageway between the Tollgate island and the A45, (the one that runs behind alselly park golf course) about half way down it when 2 youngish lads in a sprinter appeared out of nowhere, sat right on my bumper til he got bored and flew round me. Give me a right look too as if he was put out I was making him drive slowly. Half expected to find them further up the road in the central reservation. No such luck though!
