Stokes was getting married so think his going away would have been more than just a holiday! I can see why he'd not be thinking about contracts if he has a new wife! Sure she'd not want to be coming second to a football contract either.
Is anyone concerned that they still haven't signed new deals? I would have thought these two would be very willing to sign with us and it would be concluded relatively quickly? It's more concerning from the point of view that if we're struggling to convince these guys to renew, how we will convince players to sign for us!

No not really bothered certainly with Stokes if he doesn't sign it wouldn't be the end of the world.
My point is more that if we are struggling to get players of this supposed calibre signing, what hope of anything better
I would normally be worrying about the lack of activity but not to bothered at the moment as we are no longer in a position to move early and will be picking up what's left. Lawton will sign and I can't imagine teams are beating the door down for Stokes.
