Looks like she's left the club according to her Twitter. Got some absolutely shocking abuse when she was just doing her job to the best of her ability

Agree, the attacks on her personal Twitter from adults was pathetic!

Good luck to her.

Her Twitter bio has 'former HOC at Coventry City'

Shame but not a surprise she has just pedalled the same rubbish people before her have and that the club has been doing for years. Fans dont like being talked to/treated like they are thick and she has been guilty of that at times.

Wonder who will replace her, thankless job.

I am surprised she didn't talk to people like they were thick more, I probably would after about 6 hours of trying to answer the stupid tweets.

She got absolute dogs abuse at times, which was completely unwarranted. If that's why she's left then those fans should be ashamed.

Don't think they answer tweets, it's the web team

Her bio says former HoC at CCFC. Even today somebody is making out feeding stories to the CT is a moral obligation to fans.
Good luck to her, she's a woman doing a job, not a member of a SISU conspiracy.

Good luck to her, the abuse she got was ridiculous. Can't be easy working for CCFC with everything done on a shoestring budget.

Wonder what this is referring to?

Obviously its a tough job and shes had unwarranted abuse but surely as head of communications she has failed? We all moan about how little communication we get from the club.

Good luck to her anyway, bet she had no idea the basket case she was getting involved in!

You would imagine that relegation means more cutbacks on and off the field

She didn't half get thrown in at the deep end. Went from one year as Club Journalist to Head of Comms. That's a big jump.

Wonder if it had anything to do with the confusing open letter not being attributed to Joy then having to clarify via twitter etc.?

Good luck to her in whatever she does next. Always going to be a thankless task under these owners.

If it was cutbacks, you'd assume that Billie chap - who I think is a 'Media Executive' would be the first to go. Maybe she just had enough....who could blame her lol.

Yes it is a hard job at the best of times but she did tow the Sisu party line which is to be expected. Hardly "communicated" with fans though and I thought that would be a pre requisite of the post? Another example of lack of communication today when it should have been the "head of communications" at the club announcing the Doyle signing, but as usual nothing from her till we have heard it from 5 or 6 other parties first. All the best to her though but needs to stop being a jelly fish and get some sort of back bone.

Are you suggesting she should've gone on her own Twitter account and started tweeting "Slade is pretty shit. LOL." or "I hate the owners too, guys"?

You mean like Richard Keys, Joe Elliott and Gary Hoffman get, Skyblue fans who hurt about the state of our club like a lot of us do. I doubt if Laura Hunter gives us a second thought other than on pay day

She didn't deserve the abuse she got, especially on her private account.

Give it all to the official account; let them reply via that. But don't get personal.

Was a thankless task. IIRC the pay wasn't the best when it was last advertised? To take the crap she has, I'd have wanted double what the wage was!

All the best Laura!

Yes of course! I can assure you that I wouldn't be/am not my bosses lap dog and ask him how long he wants me to laugh at his shit jokes. We have had rows in the past and I have left twice because of that but have gone back after being rang back by them when the dust had settled. If you do your job correctly (which she obviously didn't) like I have for the last however many years, it doesn't mean you have to go to your bosses bbq. As long as there is a mutual respect then thats fine for both parties as an employee and employer.

Didn't see any posts that were personal but you have to admit that the "communication" was non existent. Think this is what most people were annoyed about from the "head of communications"

You'd hope to hear more, but if a head of communications is primarily there to convey the voice of the club I suspect she's not the reason we still have absolutely no idea what that voice sounds like.

Feel a little for her - put in a very difficult position through her tenure by the clubs lack of communication.
She didn't deserve personal abuse, but then again regularly commented about the club on her personal twitter, so did expose herself to it in a way. Seems the younger generation of comms people/ journalists do like the 'fame' side, so should they not expect the rough with the smooth?
