What’s the reason for that?

Thanks. I've just done the same. Didn't think it would be so cheap. It's the place we stopped at last season. April too, I think.

Dates of international games were decided some time ago and Easter falls on the week set aside. Of course, it is easy enough to find out when easter will be in advance and avoid it, but they didn't.

Actually prefer the 8pm to a stupid 12.30, so not too disappointed. Means you can get a few things done in the day and enjoy a drink early evening up to the match….as long as my wonderful wife continues to drive me home from Cov

with the prem inn it just depends on how early you can get it booked. it's just a version of surge pricing i think. reviews on the one in hull city centre are ropey but its just a room for a night isnt it and it's walkable to the ground.
i also have the shareholder card which gives free unlimted brekkie for each person in the room for every night stayed so it's my go to for the budget hotels

Can anyone that has been keeping track of these patterns advise what the likelihood of April 25th being moved and what the timing options are if so? I guess if they move one title challenger at that stage they will have to move all so no one has an advantage of knowing the other result first etc?

Selfishly a 12.30 would be ideal here for me 3pm or later and I can’t go which would be fucking awful if that’s the celebration after all these years of going to shitholes in the dark times

I hope it's confirmed at Blackburn on the 18th, cos I'm in for a knee replacement on Tues 21st when we play Portsmouth, but can't see me getting to the game on the 25th!

8pm on Good Friday isn't bad imo. But 8pm on the Monday for an away trip to Hull is a bit shit but we all know supporters at the bottom of the list of considerations with these things.

I do wonder how many people watch some of these games. I can't imagine there's a huge audience at the end of a bank holiday weekend thinking I'll just finish it off watch Hull v Cov.

It was fine when we stopped there last year. Plenty of parking on site.

Didn't take long to get to the ground. A pain afterwards though as they force you out of the opposite way, so we had quite a long walk back. It was an evening game too.

Fully expected Hull being at 20:00. Already had booked hotel for weekend through to Tuesday. Hopefully this will help me get a ticket now.

I did not expect Derby to be a 20:00 kick-off. That will dampen the attendance at home.
Moving the Derby game is a bit of a shame for people travelling from far a field.

Might be a 'sell out' but think they'll be a few more empty seats than a 3pm kick off.

There are always empty seats at night games even when they're sold out.
This won't be any different.

It doesn't matter. There are absentees from sell out 3pm games, they'll always be more for evening kick offs.

23/24 Hull (a) it took me well over an hour to get out of the parking by the ground. I would 100% not do that again as I was dangerously sleepy on the drive home.

For me, I won’t drive to evening games where the distance is 2+ hours, far too dangerous overnight.

I’ll get a coach usually and try to get some shut eye on the longer drives. It’s what my mates and I did for that long Sunderland drive after the playoffs.

As it's a BH we can take our time getting up there and getting to the Travelodge, which does have parking. I've stayed there a couple of times previously when we've played Hull. Just a bit of a walk afterwards, but not really an issue.

Haven't gone on a coach to games since the 80s, I don't think. Prefer to drive. Now that the parking apps offer cheap parking, it's even more convenient.

If you’re planning on getting away from Hull at a reasonable time, don’t park on the Walton Street car park (next to the ground). Makes our car parks a breeze to get away from in comparison. Park at St Stephens shopping centre (normally a couple of quid) and walk 20 mins to ground.
Hoping this drops down to my points level (has done previously), but will be able to get a seat in the home fans if not.
Have never seen us lose there since moving up here in 2009. The one defeat we’ve had (3-2 a few season back) I was luckily on holiday!

If things stay as they are and come the end of March it’s looking like the team will end up champions, The trophy lift would take place at the final home game, rather than away at Watford if it’s secured by then. I therefore think Sky would definitely move it, and my guess would be to the Friday or the following Monday night, to give the team and the occasion maximum exposure.

Really hope they don't shift the Blackburn game (but probably will). Best alternative would be a 5.15 ko.

I reckon Blackburn will be the 12.30 Saturday

Ipswich Boro 8PM Friday

Result of Ipswich Boro could mean we seal promotion at Blackburn. So id imagine Sky want that to be the case hence I can see the above
