Have to say last season is up there probably as the most enjoyable season I’ve had as a City fan.The style of football we played the away days even the trips over to St Andrews, didn’t expect too much but Robins, his players & staff delivered.Premiership days were good I was a kid then watching Keane,McAllister,Dublin,Hadji etc play but last season for me was definitely one of the most enjoyable for me & my kids

The changing room video after the Ipswich game was similar to my reaction leaving rochdale after the 2-1 win

Il tell you what made me happy too, we had alot of fans of certain clubs won't name names but it was more than 1 club .. Who seemed to take great pleasure in our decline... And we now sit 1 or 2 divisions above almost all of them.

That pleases me.. Alot

Using any opportunity to post these. Not going to get many more chances for last season.

Edit- That top one just needs to be aligned right. Easily done.

Really enjoyable last season and at times you had to pinch yourself to believe what we achieved. This season will be very different but we should enjoy being back in the Championship and not fear anyone.

Personally nothing compares to the league two season, something special about winning through the play offs and being able to celebrate with the players. Although very special and important winning league one. Doesnt compare with being able to enjoy a promotion like in league 2. The scenes at Nottingham and Wembley - simply unbelievable.

Yea, add Bradford, Tranmere for their silly sisu flag last season... Notts County and Swindon..

I remember a smarmy remark 9ff a Notts County fan to me outside their ground after the playoffs... Had my daughter with me so just smiled... I'm smiling still

I think even better is the fact that we have really built up a solid squad during pre season. All thanks to Robins really - since he's come in for his second spell , there has not been a summer without decent recruitment. Whereas I can remember every summer between 2006 - 2016 being either hit and miss or complete doom and gloom. There's a genuine sense that the club is moving forward, albeit with the issues regarding the stadium ongoing.

I can see that, but I do not ever want to go through the playoffs again*! My nerves were shot! Over the season league 1 was better. There were still a lot of low points in the league 2 season, whereas last season we were very consistent apart from the last 10-15 games where we blew them away. Last season was more enjoyable for me.

*unless we win!

I quite enjoyed St. Andrews last year. Decent stadium, football was very good. That's not to say I wouldn't have preferred being at the Ricoh, but it certainly didn't spoil my enjoyment.
