Kebab on the way home?
After several pints post meeting and not having taken any notes I'm not sure my recollection of last night is that good so would be grateful if anyone else who was there could clarify if the following is correct/misses anything important
About 40/45 people attended; proposal about fan representation raised concerns about whether it applied to sisu or new owners only and the word 'new' was dropped; the proposal on boycott, contacting sisu investors, pressure on FL and petition was deferred till October because it would be "dangerous" to do it now; if an agreement is reached "it will still take several months"; there was a bit of a bicker about an alleged secret meeting with Seppala; Board members were thanked for all their work over the last year especially with the march which was a great success; "more aggressive action will be considered if not back at Ricoh for new season and sisu continue their intransigent position"; there might be a coach to the hill for the Cardiff game.
Standard.
So all in all - another waste of time.
Your positivity is shining through again

Anyone mention scarves idea?
For anyone that wants to take a look I tweeted a rough commentary as we went along from my own account (couldn't get into the SBT one on my Mac for some reason).
What scarves?
Adnams @ Town Wall Tavern and no mention of scarves (in pub or at meeting)
Town Wall Tavern eh? Many happy memories of a pint or three in there. Glad to hear it's still going strong - best pint in town in the 70's imo.
On the more important discussion re the Town Wall Tavern - in it's hey-day was run by Ray Hoare who formerly had the Greyhound in Much Park Street (sadly lost to the city) and latterly the Greyhound at Sutton Stop, in between times ran the Red Lion at Long Compton in Oxfordshire. Brilliant keeper of real ale (particularly Draught Bass) but could be a miserable cuss. His wife Jo was a brilliant cook, her pies were legendary.
Had a good Football team as well, half The Matrix Saturday side. I played for them and alongside Jim Holton for a few games when he was relief manager. Ray was a great gaffer of a pub as long as he liked you, I confirm his wife was a great cook.
Never had at problem with him either, but he could be contrary.I got on really well with Ray for many years and was a regular at most of his pubs, even visited him and Jo in Long Compton a couple of times ... but he eventually managed to alienate most of my mates.
" I got on really well with Ray Hoare" You must be one ,easy going fellaI got on really well with Ray for many years and was a regular at most of his pubs, even visited him and Jo in Long Compton a couple of times ... but he eventually managed to alienate most of my mates.
