Bristol have a difficult run in. 8 out of their remaining 12 games are against top half of the table sides.

Not sure they have the quality to put a serious run together.

They’ve got 3 away games at Leeds, Sheff U and Burnley. That’s brutal at this stage of the season. Home games v Norwich, WBA and Sunderland too so if they do well, it’s at the expense of rivals such as Norwich and WBA.

On paper, Blackburn may have a better run in than us so if they can hold their nerve, they should stay in the top 6.

As for WBA, we’ll be above them in the table before our home game against them. They’ve got Leeds, Burnley, Norwich, Sunderland and Bristol before we play them.

I’m feeling really bullish about our chances of top 6 and feel that even 4th place Sunderland could be in reach. Although that would probably mean them giving up point to teams around us.

Sheffield United took Hamer. Then they took O'Hare.

The last bit you took from not understanding. They go up we don't. Big bid for Rudoni. I want him to stay with us to see how far he can go.

Blimey you're worrying about something that's not even gonna happen - calm down

Watford are too inconsistent

Bristol City seem to always pick up enough to be around it so can't see them dropping out of the race

Norwich will be around it

As will Albion and us

The others will fall away I feel

Beat Sunderland then tests against Sheffield United and Burnley. We're good enough to give both a very good game. We've got a chance of being clear of 7th by these games.

My biggest worry is Rudoni showing Sheffield United how good he is and them going up with us failing in the playoffs.

I think Lampard will have learned from Leeds/Ipswich games, and even the Sheff U/Leeds game tonight, and we’ll play more offensively as we did on Saturday.

Play like that and we’re more than capable of giving Leeds and Sheff U a game.

Probably naive but I don’t think Rudoni will go anywhere. If we don’t go up, we’ll have a great chance next year, he’ll be one the main men here and he’ll continue to learn from someone he probably idolised growing up. His career doesn’t scream high profile and money chasing either.

Rudoni leaving is more fear than probable. But the Prem sides and teams that go up look for players like him. Young and improving that runs at players. Puts in a good ball, gets plenty of assists and can score goals. Would we turn down a 15m bid? IIRC Jack Clarke went for that much with add ons and they had to give Spurs something like 5m out of it.

Lampard would want to keep him. But could King resist an 11m profit in a year? Maybe he could now after spending a few million on a 29 year old.

We're a selling club and always will be.

Again, why have you got scenarios going on in your head about Rudoni? I think he'll definitely stay - he's not even been here a full season yet plus he seems to like it here (btw he's only scored 4 goals - hardly a goalscoring midfielder)

Yes you think. I also think the same. The reason we think is because we don't know.

I'll repeat myself just for your benefit. We have a young player where you will struggle to find anyone else who has as many assists and scores goals. He has an ex midfielder, a world class one at that, to learn from. He will only get better. My worry is someone will make a bid King will find difficult to reject.

That will always happen in football though - just gotta hope he'll make it to the Prem with us (for what it's worth,I think he will stay for a couple of years yet)

It certainly does.

I think he will stay as long as Lampard stays. Lampard isn't with us for the money so hopefully we get at least 2 years out of both of them. That should be enough to see us in the Prem. If we don't make it this season we will be one of the top sides next season.
