Some people have suggested that, Malaga trained for half a day and was given a 3 year deal. Jennings has been here a week and still has not been signed up.

i.e if they knew they definately wanted him, then he would have a deal by now so they are not certain yet.

Ah I see. Wasn't being funny, it was a genuine question and I was intrigued! Cheers. I thought I heard that it was expected Jennings would sign tomorrow?

How many of our signings are taken on a trial basis before being signed in the first place? Not many-the majority we have done our homework on and sign on that basis. I doubt it's even CCFC policy to sign players on the basis of a single training session.

On Monday, I was relaxing in a pool in France and the temperature outside was 30 degrees. I got a phone call at 2pm to say get yourself over to Coventry. “I had to drive two hours to pick up my boots and then drove to the airport to fly from Nice to London, where it was nine degrees! I arrived in Coventry at 2am the following morning.
