He's surprised me with what he's achieved this season but they is definitely room to improve overall as I think we've been poor in some games but managed to win.

A few more decent signings and hopefully we can push on again next season, PUSB.

Looking forward to it already if I'm honest.

FL will know there’s areas to improve on; I’d be concerned if he thought there wasn’t

He's done well, we expected play offs at the start of the season and he's delivered it. I don't think we have played particularly well under him, probably a handful of games and we don't particularly create much except from crosses, and have continued to be leaky in defence. Our best run of results came when injuries forced his hand to move to a 352

For me, there's massive room for improvement still, but that will hopefully come with him refreshing his squad. Hopefully that will mean actually using his subs. Our results away against bottom 11 of just 6 points this season isn't good enough, and our season ending run including play offs after thrashing Sunderland 3-0 was disappointing - P10 W3 D2 L5.

We expected play offs from the starting point, no one expected it at the point he came in.

It's this, isn't it. Since Lampard came in, we've been about the fourth best team in the league. If we want to be a solid playoff team over 46 games or nudge towards autos, like King put it, we can't be a team of 'moments' which it feels like we have been down the stretch i.e. home wins and strong performances vs. teams around us got us over the line, just.

Big season coming up for Lampard. He's had a great impact since coming in but the stats guys will tell you he inherited a team which wasn't getting the results the data suggested they should be getting.

He's now got the summer to shape his own team and we need to hit the ground running for a change. We can't be going into October once again saying the team need time to gel and it will come good. Time to stop making life difficult for ourselves.

Think the play offs have raised some questions around a plan B. Been largely ignored up to now despite some teams we should be beating managing to get results against us. Also questions around use of substitutes. My hope is that once he has had the summer to get the squad he wants we will see improvements in those areas.

The obvious concern is now we have a 'name' manager if we do hit the ground running we might have a battle to keep him.

Passion, emotion and an obvious connection with the players. Hope he stays. Would imagine prem clubs might come sniffing at some point though, especially if we start next season well (which would be nice for a change !)

Always been a fan of Lampard, as coach and as a person but he’s not provided he can do back to back seasons managing a club yet so this is his chance

Had maybe too much of an eye on pens last night which is why Wright probably stayed on and possibly Rudoni, who was knackered, especially with Torp out…and Eccles then going off. Who was left for shoot out ?! Great overall performance though, bossed the tie, just a couple of individual errors cost us - too many of those over season

He has made a significant difference in terms of improving certain players

The play offs raise few questions to me. There seemed to be this belief just because we won 3-0 in the league it would be repeated. If we had achieved a draw we would have emerged as winners overall I'm sure

The forwards are largely duds and Wright has just collapsed in form and desire. We also lost a goalkeeper than again would have improved results

The belief when he was appointed was that the connection between fans and the club would go. It hasn't and he has made himself popular with the way he has conducted himself

Yes overall I am positive after the end to the season.

I think if Lampard is backed and replacements found for duds we can continue our momentum into next season.

We need to keep riding this wave and not let us get into a period of stagnation.

I think Mr King will see this also and give Frank what he needs.

I thought that aswell but to be fair to Kevin Phillips who’s obviously batting for Sunderland, he stated that the best team over the two legs had lost and that Sunderland had got away with it. Fair play to O’Nien aswell who said it how it was.

He does indeed. It’s was a big call to bring in Lampard and he really needed this to work and for Frank to reinvent himself as a coach/manager. His stock is now on the rise after a good first season and hopefully that continues.
I have no issue if/when a Premier League club may come calling as it means he has done well and done the business for us. Can’t recall too many of them sniffing around Russell Slade or Mark Venus.

I'd like to think it's a bit too early in Lampard's redemption arc for him to be wooed off elsewhere. Considering the improvement in fortune with a squad he inherited plus one very good signing, I'm excited and optimistic about the summer now.

Surely Aled Williams will go this summer and Lampard will add more to his coaching team

Just watched his interview with Sky, he seemed more emotional than half of us in that away end post game last night. Say what you want about him tactically but he gets it here, I think he’s really got the bit between his teeth to get us up next season

Can't see Lampard going anywhere anytime soon, we're definitely a work in progress.
Seems to genuinely really like the squad he's got here as well

I’m struck by the emotion he showed. For someone who has no real link to the club and has won and done everything in the game, he comes across as someone who genuinely cares.

great appointment. Can’t wait for next season

Is there a link to his interview? The recording cut off half way through his interview on Sky.

I can’t see a club who will likely be looking for a manager where he fits in tbh

Tottenham - Absolute non starter

Southampton - Bad blood between the club and his uncle ‘Arry

Leicester - Surely not?
