FL needs to achieve something eg promotion to rebuild his career. Do that with CCFC he can go to West Ham or any premiership club. Go now with West Ham I fear he will be exchanging texts with Mr Rooney, Stevie G and FL is way better than both.

Sean Dyche is the new Sam Allardyce.

If it`s all possible, his footy is worse than Allardyce.

Dyche is the last of the dinosaurs, him, Allardyce, Pullis et al.

Footy has moved on and they haven`t.

The fact that Dyche wasn`t even linked to a team during the Summer speaks violumes.

It’s a big club that’s well established in the Premier League that any of our players or coaches would move to if given the opportunity. I doubt Lampard is the type of person to shy away from a job because it’s “tough”.

Well, he rushed to Chelsea and Everton and, while not failing, got negative press at both.

He's doing well and rebuilding his name here.

West Ham are on a downwards spiral and could be looking behind their shoulders towards the end of the season.

He would be nuts going there, given the mutual hatred between him and their fans these last 20 years. They would crucify him the moment they hit a bad spell, and their board would end up sacking him as a result.

I doubt he has any lingering concerns about managing in the PL - at least I hope he doesn’t.

If there’s mutual animosity between him and the fans then I doubt it happens. But I don’t think that moving from the Championship to one of the best-supported Premier League teams in the country is anyone’s idea of “career suicide”.

Getting relegated from the PL with West Ham would of course be career suicide.

Go and ask any West Ham fans about how their club is being run now. It's a basket case.

I’m not sure West Ham will get relegated and I certainly don’t think Lampard would expect to take them down if he was offered the job.

Whatever the fans’ gripes about the ownership and the stadium (imagine that!) it’s still a much bigger club than us unfortunately.

Of course it is but I think we can all agree that he's a good manager but would be a very poor move for West Ham. Cannot see him single-handedly turning things around there. He would struggle and the fans would turn on him very quickly.

Frank's got more chance of being a premier league manager next season if he stays here than moving to West Ham.

Especially with the way the 3 promoted teams have set themselves up to survive this season.

No Prem team is going for Frank unless we're promoted & even then they'll see how he goes

The gap between the PL & Champ is getting wider coaching-wise due to the money/status of the league. Villa got Emery & Palace got Glasner while sat in the relegation zone - 10 years ago that would have been Allardyce & Pardew

In the last 5 years there has only been one example of a manager being poached from a Championship team (Nathan Jones) and it was a disaster

Dyche is a good manager. He kept Burnley in the premier league a few years ago, and got them up again.
Would like him as the City manager to be honest, if Frank went.

Football has largely passed Dyche by in recent years. He hasn't evolved and just stuck with the style he's always known, which really is largely redundant now at the top level.

He'll never get another PL job.

Surely if Frank did leave, we'd get this lass in as caretaker til the end of the season?

everyone wants to play and manage in the prem, it’ll be hard to turn down what they’ll be paying him, still think he’s got to prove himself yet, there’s questions tactically over him, just really hope our lack of signings doesn’t go against us after king said he’d get backed, hopefully he gets some more help in January if we need it

Trust me you don`t want Dyche anywhere near the club.

His football makes your eyes bleed.

He has one way of playing, nine men behind the ball and lump it up to a big grock up front.

He plays footy not to lose, not to win.

You don`t called Dychosaurus for nothing.

While we're doing well he will be mentioned whenever a PL job comes up. It's just the way it is. If we were shit he wouldn't be mentioned. Which would you prefer?

Been talking to quite a few WHUFC fans recently, work in Canary Wharf, and they openly laugh at the idea of FL going there. It's like us saying John Eustace would be good for us just because he played for us, no other reason, not game plan, suitable system, just he played for us so must want to come.
Also, with these law of averages Mark Robins may be appealing to Man Utd if their manager leaves because he played there.

It could be argued that they missed the chance to pick Robins up after we played them because they need to go on hold for 2-3 seasons and restore some sanity to the club, get rid of all the ego's and wages chasing their tale.halt the transfer policy.

Agreed, it isn't even successful anymore. His record for his last 50 games at Burnley plus his spell at Everton is awful

I have never heard of "footyinsider247" and am going to assume it's just another dime-a-dozen clickbait slop factory that is simply making this up. Lampard is influential enough that if his people really wanted to sound out interest in another potential job, they'd probably go to a more reputable source.

Yup, I wouldn't believe footyinsider247 either. Way down the pecking order.

Much prefer footyinsider1 or 2, or 10 etc

I would also much rather my info was coming from something that was all day every day too

I heard on the Athletics Totally football podcast that the West Hame fans were signing Lampards name at the Forest game before they went ahead. Assume this source has heard this aswell and took a shot in the dark with this story
