How many of those pundits talk a brilliant game but end up being really shit managers? Shearer, Keane and near the end of his career where modern coaching left him behind Martin O'Neill.Like many fans when FL’s name was first mentioned i was under whelmed.
So I watched various interviews with him, probably 3 hours in total, specifically on his coaching philosophy, lessons learnt from previous roles, etc and it made me much more excited about his potential.
I then listened to proven football pundits also talking positively about him as a man, coach, and his potential.
Now I’ll disappointed if it’s not him. He‘s not risk free but no manager is.

Absolutely spot on.Managers under contract don’t come to be part of a short list … they only come for an interview if they are nailed on for the job. If they are unsuccessful in the interview they have also burnt their bridges at their existing club

I’ll be honest why go from MR > JE , that’s just crazy. Whilst don’t want Lampard you can see elements he may bring (albeit huge risk)To be honest warming to Eustace a bit after reading about him at other clubs but think it’s Lampard.
