Sorry if it's been posted before but although this is short, I thought it was a great insight into our recruitment strategy. Also interesting we were after Grimes pre lampard

Pre Lampard, yes it’s easy just to think any upturn in a players form, any player we have brought in since Lampard was appointed was all down to Frank.

Another excellent interview. Far better questions than he gets asked by local media...

Exactly. I keep reading that Dean Austin is useless, but lots of the talent we have is from his team. They don't all work, they won't all get over the line for whatever reason, but hes clearly identifying players and working on them a couple of windows out. Wolfenden said we'd chased him since before January. I think some expect us to turn up and say "we're Coventry City, sign here". That approach would work on me and probably most of you, but other team's players take a bit more persuasion.

I think Doug with his changing and improving has made us more of an attractive club for players to want to join here, massively improved the profile in a positive way, improved the presentation of Ryton and obviously purchased the ground too, the lure of working with Lampard too, its just the money we are lacking atm so struggle through(hopefully not a struggle) until the January transfer window maybe bring in a few players, if we are there or there abouts at the top of the table, in preperation for a final push into the Prem

He speaks so well, doesn't over complicate things nor does he revert to management speak. You can imagine the rapport he has with everybody around him - not just the players. He's a great ambassador for our club

Haji's a very intelligent player, you can see that on the pitch and how he adapts within a game. He won't need telling, let's hope his ankle holds out. He'll need some rest along the way and we need Simmo to be a genuine threat too.
