Apart from hoping that the protests continue, I don't see what's clear about the rest of your post.

Eh, why are you posting things that Fisher openly admits like you're uncovered some big secret?

We know the club has to run within its means and we know players will be sold if we need to make up a shortfall.

I'm not sure how Slade can be seen as a lack of ambition. He is a much better appointment than a lot of people were expecting.

Exactly. So much to genuinely criticise and yet going at one of the more sensible outcomes

I would say that the position we are in the league and the situation we are in financially makes Russel Slade pretty much the obvious kind of choice doesn't it?

I would say he is exactly the sort of manager we need right now for the mess we are in.

If Slade can keep us up this year it will be a minor miracle. Next season STs will drop and Fisher will cut the budget even further. If Slade keeps us up again after further budget cuts it will be a major miracle. As an atheist I don't believe in miracles!

Where is the revelation here? That is the business plan from the horses mouth, they stopped investing 2 years ago or more.

Sorrowfully, the only way to grasp the club back is to have a fans trust that heavily involves corporate solicitors, accountants and PR Agents who are true fans. They must be out there. The critical point though, has to be a fairer spread of the blame - current owners, past owners, the city council and the local media. We're the fans with little influence and typical of this era, subservience to the experts. But it's we who have crafted a 130 year old civic institution. The experts ought to have a duty of preservation, but they treat it as a burden. We need our own murky men.

There is no ambition from the owners. You was told by Fisher twice on Friday and again today and in the past. The club will run at break even. Sisu have no interest in selling until all court action is exhausted and they have have recouped some or all their Investment. At the moment it cost them nothing to sit on the club and and losses are not recognisedoing till they sell.

There will be no more investment on the playing side, no stadium, new training ground or academy.

If you boycott the games it doesn't matter they will cut the budget it doesn't matter what league we are in to them. It's about keeping the club alive so sisu can continue legal action. Once this is over they will sell up.

I know people assume sisu are stupid they are not, they know it will take massive investment on the football club to get anywhere near a return on their investment and even then it's a gamble as this will only happen on a premier league return.

It's that simple no other motive or conspiracy.

so basically the club is being run along the same lines as most in this league. Short term appointments, loans, journey men and a shoe string budget.
I've got no beef with that. The lack of any coherent plan to improve our lot, the uncertainty surrounding the academy and where we'll be playing in little over a year are my main concerns. and sisu appear to be doing fuck all about any of it - but who knows, maybe they'll surprise me!

Let's assume we're gullible enough to swallow Fisher's nonsense and ssume that we the supporters hold the key to success by investing in the club with season tickets . We sell 10,000 season tickets for the start of next season. Will Fisher announce that we have millions more to spend on players? Why should he ? There won't be.

Millions more than what? Would going up to 10,000 next season even generate millions more than this year before?

The only plan as far as I can see is the exit plan for Joy to leave the club with the money ARVO put in plus an adequate ROI.
As for the future well being of the club, that will be someone else's problem.
