Thought he would go somewhere. Down the pecking order at the City at the moment.

Has it been announced?

Hasn't the loan window closed or is it emergency or something?

I thought non-league still abided by football league transfer windows so can't take players on loan? Or am I just wrong

National league sides can loan players at any point of the season I believe

Will do him good I think if he gets gametime.

hopefully he plays every game

although if we dont start scoring soon you would think it would be worth playing kwame in our team to see if it makes any difference

'Initial' month loan makes it sound like that might be the last we see of him.

So we've basically swapped him for Max Boomer ?

Good move. Lad needs first team game time (not U23s) and seems we are already benefiting from the link we forged with Sutton in the summer. Saves us time and resources hawking him around to clubs endlessly for potential interest.

Will score 4/5 I reckon.

Assume it's to get match fitness as for me I'd have him as our first choice striker at the minute.

A month would indicate its for match fitness. Suspect that given his run of injuries Robins wants him to prove he is physically up to playing every week.

Think it's a good move. If he goes and scores a few goals, bring him back and play him. If he doesn't stand out at Sutton then give him longer.

I remember the time Adebola's days looked numbered at City (Peter Reid era I think), and he was shipped out on loan to Bradford, when he came back he was quality

I would rather have sent them Beavon to see if he could discover his scoring boots.

Where would you rate Kwame out of the current crop?

Good idea
Ponti should join him if he isn't going to get any playing time

If he does pick up another injury during this loan spell how many more chances do you give him to prove fitness. I know we all desperately want him to come good but at some point you have to draw the line.

He keeps breaking down doesn't he and it never seems to be anything serious either.

I suspect Ponti could be on the bench in coming games
Kwame needs to be starting and scoring in men's games to move back up the pecking order. Andreu will probably be starting more regularly now so it will mean whichever forward he replaces will be ahead of Thomas together with The Duke, Biamou and Ponti as first change choices
The Duke will probably be the choice when pace and power is called for in games and Biamou when it's a target man for high balls into the box
Ponti to throw on late as an unknown quantity
Robins seems to have a plan
Fingers crossed we see further evidence tomorrow

Well yep, this should now push Ponticelli up the pecking order.

That's what most people want isn't it?

I'd be happy with him on the bench so long as our supporters don't start calling him a wanker if he doesn't score a hat trick the first time he comes on.

At the moment I'd rather have him than Kwame as I don't have the confidence in Kwame being able to make it through 30 mins, or more if an injury requires it.

I think he needs to be on the bench and not starting does Ponticelli. Give him chance to find his feet.

Agree on Thomas. You are always waiting for him to pull up injured.

I would say he is the most likely scorer and so I would have him in the matchday squad here but I wouldn't have Beavon at the club
