Snozzer was told by Andy Thorn that in the last January window we were going to be signing Nile Ranger on loan from Newcastle, but couldn't because no board members would answer the phone so he could do the deal.
Nile Ranger was however sent back to Newcastle from Barnley late December with a foot injury, which would keep him out for at least 3 months, he then went on loan to Sheff Weds in March when his injury cleared up.

Somebody is telling porkies, though wouldn't have put it past Thorn to try and sign somebody on loan who was already injured.
Its feasable. During that time Thorn mentioned that he was in talks with a Premier League manager who he used to play with about the possibility of a loan.
Still doesn't take away from the fact that he was injured, and expected to be out for three months during the time of this alleged loan.
