I guess they never imagined Kompany being the one scoring a goal like that. Probably most other players in the city team they would have. To be fair to Leicester, It seems like most of his team mates, his manager and his fans were all trying to persuade him not to shoot!
I don't have any liking for Manchester City but Kompany for me stands out as a talisman that all football supporters can relate to. I'd love to see him manage in England after he retires from playing. He can come to CCFC for his final 12 months of playing when he's 38 and we are in the Championship. He'd do a brilliant job.
