I never said he was a defensive guru. I just said MVE and Dasilva can defendIt doesn’t. Just evidences that he has no ability to tackle. Which feeds into the overall debate that he isn’t a good defender. He’s massively improved overall but there are some - mainly Procdoc to be honest - who want us to believe that because we’re doing well he has transformed into a defensive guru.

It was never about him trying a make a tackle. He clearly thought he could nip ahead of the attacker hence his leg and foot position. Obviously fucked it up hence the red card.It was a bad tackle.
