Tremendous analysis. “They’re not poor defenders”. Well now you’ve said that I’m sold. Any comment on prime Maldini Dasilva’s tackle yesterday??

It was a bad tackle. First one he’s made. Not sure why this is even a debate and given your comments on Torp/Sheaf I understand football isn’t your thing

It doesn’t. Just evidences that he has no ability to tackle. Which feeds into the overall debate that he isn’t a good defender. He’s massively improved overall but there are some - mainly Procdoc to be honest - who want us to believe that because we’re doing well he has transformed into a defensive guru.

I never said he was a defensive guru. I just said MVE and Dasilva can defend

I know, he just spouts utter drivel without any facts or statistics to back it up.

Watch this, awful tackle from Maldini. Even the best ever make poor decisions now and again

Shame, because I would have definitely included you on the bench.

Watch out. The chuckle brothers are about. They can produce stats and statistical analysis to say Dasilva is an excellent defender. Laughable

I watched Doyle the other night for Wrexham. As someone who would have loved Doyle… I am so glad I’m not in charge of transfers. Kitching and Thomas are better llayers

Doyle has gone backwards

JDS has been very good this season. Anyone saying differently either doesn't have a clue or refuse to admit they were wrong about him.

I just hope that the red card doesn't change the way he has been playing.

From what I gather, we tried to sign McNally on a perm at that time.

McNally was a more experienced, and thus better, player at the time, but even without his bad luck with injury, would he be at Thomas' level now?

I'm not sure about that.

It was never about him trying a make a tackle. He clearly thought he could nip ahead of the attacker hence his leg and foot position. Obviously fucked it up hence the red card.
