Over in game 2 the contemporary Hummel is currently getting its nose bloodied by the 70s lads. How will the original fare against 96/97?

Can McGrath do a number on McAllister akin to his performance against Hoddle at Wembley? Kilcline v Dublin promises to be a titanic match-up, and will the wily Peake overcome the raw pace of Huckerby? Who will come out on top out in the battles between Borrows and Salako and Borrows and Pickering?

Let's play.

My first two shirts.

One a hand me down and the second my first actual shirt when i started supporting them. Love both. A hard choice.

96/97 is our best kit of the 90s in my mind.

However, it's up against my favourite kit of all time.

God help us if a kit that's mostly not sky blue wins.

These are fashion staples round Casa Dactyl…87/88 for daily usage ie gardening, dusting, hoovering, relaxing at the weekends etc. 96/97 for more formal evening wear ie if friends coming round, piano recitals, reading poetry on the chaise lounge etc.

I wear a Leicester kit to work cos I fucking hate it.

For ‘night time activities’ I will wear my limited edition Covid/lockdown season ticket shirt ie it’s rare/something that happened in the past and has lots of other people’s names on it.

Another heavyweight eases through to the last 4. Who will join 87/88, 75-78 and 97/98 in tomorrow's semi-final draw? At the moment 24/25 are leading 92/93 in the last QF. It's not too late to add your vote so head over to that game if you haven't already.

What's wrong with people?!?
All my eggs are now in the 75-78 basket. If it doesn't lift the trophy then the earth is definitely off its axis.

Both of these kits are inferior versions of their type anyway. The original Hummel kit was too washed out (and just a template of Denmark’86 anyway), the 20-21 version is better. Meanwhile, everything about the 97-98 kit from sponsor, to white lines separating the stripes, to the club crest on the design and the “skyblues” script along the backside is better than the really ugly white block printed Peugeot ‘96-97 one.
