King realises he's out of his depth.

Has a chat with his landlord.

They (Ashley really) decide to sack the manager, so he (King) can do a flounce after all the opprobrium.

Ashley helpfully steps in to save the club.

Stop with this drivel. If Ashley wanted to own us he would already do so. He more than has the means, he's had multiple opportunities, he has absolutely no need to create a "situation" in order to give Doug an out.

Is embarrassing now post after post! Robins has gone the performances since the FA cup have been unacceptable.
We are a business just like any other and the owner has invested a d we have record crowds. We all know we will forever be in debt to Mark for his superb stewardship and rightly so.
Time for a new era and move forward. Just look at Wolves and Villa. Moved on and on another level.
The owner has worked wonders and time is money. This season we have been poor and every game we lose or draw makes it harder to compete at the top end of the league and there are fans who have come back due to the winning ways and experience of the stadium rocking. They aren’t getting this now and the owner is well aware of keeping the fans watching winning football.
Sit back let the dust settle and see what happens.
Signed D King …. Sorry COAB

Sorry COAB, agree with a lot you say, but football clubs aren't like any other business, if they were there would be closures and clubs going to the wall year in year out
