Wasn't at the game last night, but have read the live text and a few pieces of analysis on the game its self. Was wondering what people thought of Brennan's performance? I didn't know about him untill yesterday like most of you i presume. So i typed his name in to youtube to see if there were any bits and pieces of him playing. There's quite a good video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHbSUwIt4Zw Most of his goals come from free kicks and penalties. Watching the video you can't help but notice his ability and technique at dead ball situations. There's a few open play goals noticeably a tidy finish when taking the ball past a player and the ball getting a bit stuck under his feet.
Within the videos there are a few examples of his level of confidence with a chiped shot down the middle of the goal from the spot and another penalty which is placed softly near the top corner.
If his technique shown during set pieces is equivelant to his performances in open play it looks promising (hopefully). Plus Clingan hasn't scored a free kick in a while . Does anyone know if he was training with the 1st team today at the Ricoh?
Just thought i would add a bit of optimism for the cause .
Thoughts?
