bit of a coup.
Last time I saw them in Coventry there were about 500 people there.
Don't think I'll bother with this but I know plenty who will.
@Skybluefaz Manics supporting. You're not going to miss that are you?

They supported Bon Jovi last year or this year can't remember which? More regular at the ricoh than the sky blues. I can tolerate the Killers more than Bon Jovi so could probably justify the cost. Got my eye on it

Really? Some great tunes. Don’t you know any of these?

The Killers' 11 Best Songs - they're all wonderful wonderful!

Seen them in Birmingham a couple of years ago and will definitely be going.
Just hoping that sits ok with everyone on here as I am putting into the Council/Wasps coffers.

Bugger. Big fan of the Killers but would rather not see my money support the Wasps. Might go to one of the other dates on the tour.

If you don't give it to them you'll only spend it funding the opposition!

Take them or leave them band for me the Killers are. Saw the Manics many year’s ago at the Wolverhampton Civic hall, in fact it was that long ago that there was four of them and they’d only released one album. They were excellent I have to say. Not sure how they’ve aged though.

Well now let me see, if I went to Old Trafford instead I”d be giving it to Man Utd, nope sorry, think I’d prefer to still give it to Wasps over them!

Buggar! Love the Killers. Only seen them 4 times and now they’re on my doorstep!!
Buggar you Ricoh Arena, my boycott if CCFC are still absent will be coming to an end I feel :emoji_relaxed:

Mr Brightside is the best song by far (favourite ever in fact!), but also like
Miss Atomic Bomb
The Rut
Tyson V Douglas
Run For Cover
To name a few others

People on this forum: It’s terrible a club has been allowed to leave the city, won’t somebody please think of the impact to the local economy and all those innocent small business owners.

Also people on this forum: I’m boycotting the Ricoh and watching things in another city.

Never change SBT

The Old trafford one is at the cricket ground not the football ground.
Hot Fuss was great but not been a fan of anything since then.

Why has anyone started a thread promoting an event at the Ricoh?

I tried that for the football once. It's not half as much fun.

i wonder if they have security around saying you cant stand close?

i know its silly but if i can hear songs quite clearly from my house it must be pretty good close up. can they stop people walking around close to ricoh?

Depends if you are walking round with a backpack.

I live in Keresley and could hear the Stones very well indeed when they played.

Would struggle to stop you if you were on public land unless they want to get the police involved in some sort of public disorder offence.

Went to see Foo Fighters at Brighton Concorde which is on the seafront and there was a hundreds of people outside, Dave Grohl got security to open all the doors and windows so they could hear better!

Because people become Monster Truck, Spice Girls and whoever is on top fans because it's at the Ricoh.

The Killers completely ripped off Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Springsteen to name a few but I don't hate them and think they'd probably put on a good stadium show.

love the killers, into double figures the amount of times I've seen them now. All great gigs apart from the mess that was Glatso with the sound system.

Getting tickets to see them at Malahide Castle

Got tickets for St Marys, £50. Would think the Ricoh would be the same.
More expensive tickets were available though.

A bit pricy - especially now that my daughter tags along with us now. Never seen either the maniac of killers, so looking forward to it.

Ticketmaster rarely put the whole allocation on sale at once and usually limit sales on the first day to create a buzz about selling out.

Was interested in seeing Blossoms and always wanted to see the manics. The Killers, take it or leave it. Hoping I can get the money together in time.
