You’re Keiffer Moore and you go can go Wrexham to be top dog or Cov’s Plan B… Who do you choose? Pretty sure Wrexham pay more than us too.

BTA, Haji and Simms have 19 goals between them, not signing Moore or Morris is not worth crying over.

Yeah, no chance he comes here at this stage of his career, on £40k pw, to sit on the bench.

and I’d say also / more so if JDS was on instead of Bidwell

I love Bidwell but his legs have gone and he’s not at the level or at least wasn’t last night to chase and press like we’ve been doing this season, and his attacking threat was zero.

I assume Brau isn’t up to the task…

Beau probably needs to adapt to the Championship and probably England as whole, it is slightly odd that Bidwell seemed to be 3rd choice on Day 1. Perhaps he’s struggling to settle in?

It’ll all play out in time, I’m confident he’ll turn good.

He’s a carthorse. Below average championship striker.

Letting a donkey like him score a perfect hat trick does leave a very bitter taste , we were never going to go a whole season without losing, but to lose to Wrexham and him getting 3 , still irks me after a good nights sleep.

The wolf had one man to mark that wad his job as roy keane would say. The 3 goals were all very avoidable Wrexham weren't great if we gave am extra 5% effort we win that game by 3+ goals

Wrexham’s xG was 1.41 versus 1.56 for us (FotMob). They didn’t cut us to pieces and as you point out, subpar defending lets us down. Particularly from Bidwell and Wolfenden.

Wolfenden probably lacks chemistry with KKH and Kitching and vice versa. Whereas Bidwell has looked like a regressing player from last season.

I'm sure he'd like to play against Woolfie every week too! How can the lad not be fit yet, he really seemed to tire in the last 30 mins and we had no options on the bench. It doesn't look like he can jump much either. Luckily Woolfie doesn't have to!

Lack of match time is one thing, but to me he just looked so slow and lacked any fight,
Ipswich must be pissing themselves laughing. I hope he massively improves, because to be honest Lats would of done a better job.

Also our left flank looked woeful, Bidwell is well past his prime and we know EMC is useless at defending. We desperately need better cover for Desilva, if Brau isnt the answer we may need to look at a loan in January.

I'm not sure I agree about Bidwell. He needs more time on the pitch for the occasions that we need him to play. I think he should probably rotate more often to give JDS more of a break. EMC doesn't cover that position well enough and it can expose either of them sometimes. I do agree that our left is not as productive as the right!

A couple of years ago Bidwell would get tight on his winger and let him know he was there, now he stands off about 3 or 4 yards and doesn't put his foot in.
Im presuming its because he knows he doesn't have the pace to recover now if he gets beaten.

He is 32 and has played very nearly 600 games throughout his career.
Maybe the top of the championship is a little above him now, he has been a great servant to us, but all things come to an end.

Imo, we need a younger, much quicker alternative to provide cover/competition for JDS, I thought Brau would be that player, but maybe he isnt ready yet.

Think I mentioned in the summer but there was a bit of laughter around the idea of him or Mcburne.

If we are going to play direct as we have been, need more from our strikers when our backs are against it.

Simms was brilliant against Portsmouth for it

I suggested both and Carlton Morris. All 3 would have been excellent to compete with Wright

He averages 1 goal in 3 over his career (16 seasons as a pro in league football) not to mention countless assists.
Not a bad record for a carthorse.

Moore is 33 and on huge wages for the Champ.
Typical Hollywood signing for their manager. Short term investment with no return.
Some days forwards have a blinder.
We attack as a default position, so there will always be spaces at the back.
First goal Kitch nearly intercepted or could have played him offside if more aware. Wolfie was poor for the second goal. Third goal still maintain Tatsu was fouled in the build up. Small margins.
We have had a lot of luck at the back this season. Sometimes it is just not your day.

I thought so at the time and Tats clearly did too, but watching it back and, in the context of the match where the ref let quite a lot go, I wasn't really convinced.

They got the ball to him and he scored.
We could have been better
They could have been worse.
But they could have still got the ball to him and he scored
It makes a nonsense of form and quality

Kitching shouldn't have got involved with him in the incident they both got booked. Got the crowd going and Moore too it seems.

The way he mixed it up with our two centre halves and threw Kitching to the ground, out battled Woolfenden and scored a hat trick, all while making sure his hair band stayed in place was really quite impressive.

Keiffer Moore and Morris both scoring hattricks will have the usual suspects out.

Is Keiffer Moore a player who’s better than we’ve got and worth breaking our wage structure for? The answer is no.

Wrexham done to us what we’ve done a few times this season: massively over performing xG and scoring low % chances. Fair play to them but as Lampard said, the standards need to be higher.

A player that changes clubs so much often gives the idea they may not be 100% if they want another signing on fee.

Nah, too old, too expensive and no resale value.
Simms still has time to improve but I get what you mean.
Football doesn't seem to produce many players like Moore anymore.
Dementia beckons with all the heading.
Vic used to avoid it if possible, but seems to do it more at Arsenal.

I don’t support City to make money though. If he was available and we had the cash he’d be my number two striker and I’d use him away all the time.

… that sounded far more sexual than I intended.

Keiffer Moore would be a 3rd top scorer with his current tally but on the double the wages.

40k p/w or whatever for a 2nd choice striker is crazy. Frankly, he’s a player that always been overhyped on here.

Moore and Wrexham is a good fit, fair play to them.
