Seen one cop push two younger lads away from a police van after they got a bit excited and tried to use it as a drum. Same cop took out a City fan in the process, not even an apology given! Couple of Cov fans wanted to go after one but fan who was toppled just got up and carried on on his way home.

Saw exchanges between Cov lads and some County and plenty of goading going on in the pissing rain....

Notts county fan had a fit.... don't know why people need to stand and watch. Assisted police to sort him out and get him home!

Its weird how its always the same fans saying on social media they've seen or been caught up in something. Almost like they go looking for trouble.

I done know why people end up doing this shit. All the county fans I spoke to were genuinely decent and happy to talk about the game before and after

There was a bellend sat near me, kept going on about Biamou never ever winning a header. After about the 3rd time he swore an old fella said "he just won that one" at that point the guy was giving it loads to the old guy "he didnt, he wins fuck all, he will not win a header all night". Then just after he won another and it was "yeah but it didnt go to anybody did it". Was an absolute bellend, his wife (or carer) was clearly embarassed when he randomly started losing his shit at other fans.

Was getting quite aggressive with people as well, bet if he hadn't been like it with a couple of older blokes and it was somebody with a shorter fuse he would have had a slap.

The issue in that part of the stadium is every supporter is almost funnelled into the middle looking for a drink , a piss or a fag .
Violence isn’t needed but with everybody so cramped and pissed it’s a possibility .
They used to open the far doors for the smoking area to ease crowd congestion but stopped doing it

Did you see / hear him as well?

I'd have had a chuckle if the old fella who goes week in week out and minds his own business had just stuck one of him.

Surprised you didn't get in there and do the business Nick. You are always suggesting our players should do it in the first 5 minutes and show them who is boss.

I'd have no qualms putting a dodgy tackle in on him during a football match.

I'm not going to start swinging in the family zone though, but if he had I think a few were ready to stand in front of the older fella.

The family zone is exactly where I’d start.

The only place I’d have half a chance...

You'd have to ask them. They're always completely innocent and not involved but always the same people getting caught up in it.

Millwall syndrome.

The organisation & stewarding at the Ricoh is terrible. It wasn't fantastic to start with but the last 18 months or so its rapidly declined.

On the way in tonight the chap in front of me, an old chap, wasn't happy about being searched. The steward told him it was a legal requirement, which without looking it up I'm 99% certain is bollocks, and it was because tonights match had been given a high terrorism threat rating. Sure Cov v Notts County is right at the top of the ISIS list of potential targets!

In the subway from the south car park to car park C (under dual carriageway) we saw the tail end of some aggro on the way back to the car. A bunch of city lads hurried past us back towards the ground, with a load of verbals from some Notts lads. One of the Notts lads in the subway was clearly agitated, was being restrained by his mates from pursuing the Cov boys. He had red marks on his head and blood on his face, had clearly been given a whack. Thought it was going to go off but they thought better of it and dispersed. No police or stewards in sight.

I heard that he was knocked out by a punch that in turn lead him to have the fit.
Didn't see it myself but that is the concensus on FB.
Apparently was in a group giving it it large and got punched.
Still don' think it is right should just ignore them or better still laugh at them, soon shuts them up.

well fuck him then. I know this will get a load of self righteous outrage but if he'd made his way home it wouldn't have happened. I saw someone propped up against a police car and it looked liked he'd be OK but was a bit distressed. Fucking prick.

I agree with this mostly, don’t start or try and cause trouble if you are not prepared to take what may come your way .

But I hope he’s ok , and just learns his lesson for future outings

So in short, if you avoid the aggro between the opposing fans you'll probably get caught up in people from the same side having a ruck. Plus people who have drunk more than they can cope with can't cope without a fag for 2 hours so it's poor design of stadium. Whilst we could debate the socio-economic underling causes or the inherent tribal nature of the football fan my hypothesis is that these people are cunts
