Wasnt at the game on sat, however reading a short analysis of the game after work i noticed that the 1st team who played the 1st half lost their half 1-0, where as the youth team with ROD won 2-1. I know we shouldn't read too much into friendlies and that its just fitness training at the end of the day, but these little things will effect the players attitude and will hopefully spur the 1st team on. And by the sounds of it we generally have young players who can step up to the 1st team, this can only mean good things at CCFC, providing we stop selling our players!

Havent been surprised but I have been very disappointed by the comments most have made about Eastwood. They should all have been buzzing to play and from what I have read he wasnt. Somehow I doubt even a strategically placed stick of dynamite would spark him into anything like a decent performance. I know its only the first friendly but to see comments about his weight and lack of interest is really disappointing ..... just not good enough

these comments could be from fans who hate freddy though OSB

i mean some dont even acknowledge that he has been dropped harshly whilst in rich vein of form in recent seasons...

He did a few ace runs, final ball kept playing people offside though.

Please have faith in Freddy he will be top scorer this season, and though i admit he can look lazy, i feel Thorny will give him the said TNT up his jacksy which will do the business and propel him to new heights.
I have always liked Freddy and im sure by the end of the season he will be top man.

This has always annoyed me. Whenever he scores goals for a few games in a row he gets dropped no wonder he isn't scoring when he gets picked again he confidence must be terrible
