Ooh, how many did they just get?

Was that a hat trick in 12 seconds?

Could have done with Walsall hanging on to that point

I always thought their nickname was the Blades. I like the new one though, it somehow suits them.

Yep, but now, although we will be 7 points adrift of 2nd place, we will now have a game in hand on Wigan. Win that and it could be down to 4.

if you take into account Tuesdays games, then in general results have been very kind to us this week.

Obviously the results were never going to be perfectly in our favour, but we have got quite fortunate with a few of the results this week

They have and now at the top you have,:

Wigan 7 points clear of us, but we have a game in hand.

Gillingham 6 points clear of us, but again, we have the game in hand.

Walsall 5 points ahead of us. Same games played.

We'd have taken that this morning wouldn't we?

I think if you look back at that you'll see that they in fact scored 2 goals in the last 12 seconds.

The results were pretty kind to us again today! Got to beat Fleetwood on Saturday now, anything less than a win will be a kick in the nuts.

I dislike the yam-yams so much that I'm almost pleased that Wigan stole it.

Burton and Wigan looked nailed on for the automatic spots imho.

I think now we have to solidify our position in the top 6. Looking at the play off places right now i'd be happy for 3rd-6th to finish exactly as they are, i'd take a play off semi final against Gillingham in a heartbeat.

I expect them to comfortably make their way into the play-offs....also Sheffield Utd.

We are in a better position than we were this morning in some ways though. Gillingham and Walsall both lost and Wigan have played one more game than us.

Draw for Wigan would have been an ideal result.. my concern is that Wigans form is so good at the moment it's going to be hard to catch them. Obviously we play them at their place which may help, but before that we have to start winning our own games.

Genuine 4 points ahead of 7th. Only a couple of weeks ago we were fearing we would be out of the top 6 once games in hand were played.

That must mean that the clubs that some say we won't be able to catch up with have dropped points again

Sheff utd very inconsistent though. Wouldn't be shocked if they lose next gsme for e.g

Barnsley on a tear but no manager right? Might not take much to upset that Apple cart. Shame we play thrm so soon though.

So very true.

That table looks good to me as long as we do our bit too.

I want Sheffield United at Wembley with a strong ref, our full team and absolutely play them off the park. In fact if it was guaranteed I'd prefer that to winning the league

Law of averages says the longer it goes on the more likely they are to lose one

They're one of the most inform teams in the country! Hopefully their for will fade between now and the end of the season.

I'd rather we beat them in dubious circumstances after they've outplayed us.
