Unless things change on the player front, Astute, and new recruits are brought in, I am firmly throwing my hat very much in the relegation dogfight camp.

I agree, but there is plenty of time to sort everything out. Most signings start at the end of june as this is when most contracts run until. AT knows he can only get free signings. About 1/3 of players will be out of contract on average. Half this for the players that will extend their contracts, so 1/6 of players will be available. We have heard AT has said who he wants and SISU have been in talks with them. SISU get money from selling players. They will want to sign some as they know they are needed and also they suddenly have a value whilst under contract. As things stand this is the only way they can raise money. Without selling players we don't have a way of raising funds. They will see that Keogh cost hardly anything, but if what is being said is true then we have been offered about £800,000 so far for him. Even they will see this is where they can earn cash as well as getting more through the turnstiles if we have a winning team.
We will know as fact when we see who we have as the season starts. Until then all we know is we are currently under an embargo whilst in talks about a rent reduction and also trying to get a share of our stadium.
we wont sign any players, staff in the club shop are being made redundant and the one in town is also being shut down so SISU havent got a pot to piss in.
