Explain to me how Kevin Phillips can be lined up if co* believed that King was staying?

There is no way you could afford the wages for both of them.

It would be most unprofessional to approach Phillips about a job if you thought King may sign.

Something is wrong here, you either have nobody lined up or the club never believed that King was going to sign and leaked the verbal to sell tickets.

It would be foolish when Birminham's interest when public to assume he was still signing and to not have a back up plan

It would but the Birmingham link only started a couple of days ago, it seems unlikely that Phillips would be contacted by you, meet you, talk to his agent and agree to sign in such a short time frame, especially when there are probably plenty of other clubs interested.

TBF Hackneyfox, we never know what goes on at our club! And when we think we do (i.e. fans forums, press conferences, newspapers etc,) whatever we are told, always backfires and turns out to be lies!

I guess its part and parcel of being a fan of CCFC!

TBH, I dont think Phillips is the answer so woldnt be too bothered it we "missed out". He WAS a good player and we need to sign someone who is going to manage to play a whole season, never mind just half!

I don't think co* are any worse than any other team.
The tweeting seems pointless and it certainly wasn't very bright to mention the verbal agreement but at least they try. Mandaric always assured us that we'd be the first to know anything, via the papers seems to be what he means.

Yes, he used to be alright-in the last few weeks he has been nothing but a WUM of the lowest order. All he does is make snide remarks and insult people-and the club that this is meant to be a forum for. Do you really find it that interesting to read? He's admitted in recent days that he just comes on here to WUM, surely that's reason enough for banning him?

Methinks another vote now would have a very different result.

The Pistols swore on Bill Grundy!!!!!!! Sometimes you need somebody to lighten things up a little. I say leave him alone, theres nothing wrong with an incester fan on here and he's been on GMK for as long as I remember.
