The edge and malaga should be played together with christie right back and hussey left , reece brown is the worst loan player we've ever had and his heading tonight was terrible

Christie played well I thought, solid game
Brown was shockingly poor again as he has been all along,
Wood was ok, apart from the pen lol
Hussey was crap, just no end result, Sheff stood 3 ft away and Hussey passes it forward 20 ft direct to a Burton player :thinking about:

I would defo bring Malaga back for Brown
I would try Kilbane at LB

Claus Jorgensen last night was saying he could see flashes of class from reece brown , but your right for these cup games against league two opposition it should be the French lads for fitness and learning the English game, they could make quite a pairing!,
Only problem with kilbane at left back is your left centre back will be covering him a lot as he isn't quick enough to get back quick so you'll be leaving a gaping hole , which could be filled by Jennings but I'd leave hussy at left back he's still only young give him time with people booing him It's not going to help his confidence and that's what he needs!

Brown will end up playing at higher level than any of our other centre halfs mainly because he has the athletic ability they haven't.

Last night though his heading and communication was poor

I don't rate Brown at all, he is dopey, he can't head the ball, positioning is poor (e.g. Crewe, Birmingham, Sheff U + Bury goals), he plays his teammates into shit with poor passes e.g. Sheff U, he is ok at tackling and his best trait is his passing, but that's not what a CB is, more like a DM, but ahead of Jennings? Please, drag him back to Manchester, if his performances don't improve!

Puts his team mates in the shit with his poor passes and his best trait is his passing?

You think very highly of him then
