Kyle but given that Platt has to be the most immobile and useless number 9 I've seen at the club it doesnt say a lot.

Agreed, Platt has got to be most impotent striker I have ever seen put on a CCFC shirt.

Did you never see ROD "in action" ?

Platt at least tried, even though he was limited, to put it politely. He wasn't good enough for the Champ but any player with 100+ goals in professional football can't be that bad. He joined us as a 33 year old donkey and didn't do much , but then that was hardly his fau;t - I never expected him to.

As for Kyle, he had for more potential than Platt. But his attitude stank and although technically a better player, I remember Platt with a degree of fondness for his application and his good attitude. I remember being pretty impressed with Platt in interviews, he sounded quite insightful. Kyle was just a jerk.

NO! That's the problem!

100+ goals isn't too great in 13-14 odd seasons, less than 10 a year.

Some people actually care about this more than skill level and technicality. *sigh* (not aimed at you)

I could slag off Platt, he was fucking shit and out of his depth as soon as he came here, I'm glad he fucked off!

Don't suppose you were at Watford away in AB's season? Think it was the 2nd or 3rd game.

Platt was immense.

And tell me taylor did you cheer his goals or recognise his assists? I recall a time we could'nt stop winning with platt (even tho he did'nt score) yet when he was injured it all went tits up.

No I wasn't... 1 'immense' game in nearly 67 appearances.

Sorry to say it but they were both carp but I would give Platt a slit edge.

Both are awful but I think Kyle just edges it.

Yeah I came to like Platt - thought he was dross at first, but came to respect his effort - despite his limited ability. He was brought in as a Niall Quigon-style Plan B option, problem is that he quickly became Plan A, and that was never gonna work

The official stats credit him with 1 assist last season.

I'd go for Kevin Kyle, Platt was good in the air though.
